Reddit whining destroyed whole league mechanic in 5 days

"
And now back to poe: summoners were absolutely fucked by this mechanic.
I am a summoner. I had problems but it was far from impossible. I did not considered myself or my character as fucked up by the mechanic. Alert level was fine even. For comparison: I run up to lvl 75 heists with a zombiemancer. Only problem is when mobs clutter at a chokepoint (which I consider a bug rather than a league mechanic).

Yeah you can tank and do nothing else in Heist just so you can loot, but it came at the cost of not engaging in the following
That's total bullshit. You do not build your whole character around heist or stealth, you just adjust your equipment around a heist. You can change it back later.

You 1 shot them. There is no noise after that.
And what weapon or skill you use? Archmage lord of thunder does not make any noise?

"
If you've played actual stealth-op games like splinter cell assassinations are a real strategy.
Stealth in ARPGs is different from Stealth in non-ARPGs. You compare apples and oranges.

No other mechanic in the game forces you to change your build so drastically that it behaves different from what you originally designed it for. That's telling summoners not to play summoner just so they can Heist properly. Not even Delirium and Legion are that bad.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

But I play summoner. And yes it is not the best character for heists. So what?

So you shouldn't be forced to play something you don't want to play in order to engage in the league?

GGG seems to understand this concept enough to not exclude an archetype from being able to properly engage with it compared to everyone else.

But GGG does not force anybody to something. Builds are not equal. Some excel in delve other in lab run. It just a lie that heists can not be engaged by some archetypes like summoners as you said.

Dunno if the opposite was ever the case, good luck reaching the breachlord or high delirium levels with a slow, defensive, low-aoe build, and Metamorph rewarded good bosskilling capabilities. It's hard to give every archetype an equal chance, someone will always get fucked so I'm calling it good enough if no major playstyle gets fully cockblocked at least.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Mate, have you been in high tier heists? It's not a la-la land where you are running around, opening chests and nothing is happening, like in acts heists. If you don't choose your fights, You'll die. A lot. Yes, you can return back to heist after dying, but at some point, you will just say "Screw that" and leave that loot.

And seeing you are playing hardcore, you'll be the first one on reddit screaming "tone down the damage".

You only have 1 heist character who is using a tabula. Get back to us once you make a pure defense character with no offensive ability outside of crowd control

If only there was something like a streaming service where you can see more experienced players with more playtime playing the same game you play...

I can also use the same argument. You have a Console icon, you didn't play Heist at all.

Dude im was doing Heists in 70+ area on 20c worth of gear and 4k life. It was fine.

For people like me, league mechanic made the entirety of Heist pointless since I couldn't loot jack shit.

Why would anyone do heists and open maybe one small chest if you'd get more from mapping? Yay I get to loot maybe one box before the alarm trips, I sure hope that's worth getting fucking 1shot and losing all of my minions trying to escape.

The update which killed mob alert was a godsend.

I agree mate. Summoners were completely overlooked but it could have been fixed in different way than to just make loot clicking run.

Maybe raising alert if you let guards to live too long or something, im not a dev nor im the some PoE authority but this just kills all the fun that league mechanic as a concept had, balancing between something...

well.. release was (and still kinda is) a disaster? it was.

how to fix that and make people happy? free loot.

...
Why do people make up stupid statements like this? It took 3 seconds for me to come up with another arpg that works just like I wrote.. motherfucking skyrim :|

Like, did you think stealth in arpg work differently than non-argp because... you liked the original dogshit heist mechanic? Is that why you made that up?
