I guess it's useless to argue with PoE fanboys, thank god there isn't too many of them (44K testing the open beta 'n all.)

But... See you at D3 launch ! :D

Don't post things like this man, you make all D3 fans look bad like this.

And to prove me wrong please link to where Blizzard are saying that what you see in Open Beta is a tutorial, and that ones you are trough that the game will be harder and more challenging.

Oh c'mon.. they said it at least hundred times..it's really not that hard to find it.

I did search, came up eampty.
I only found forums and posts by fanboys saying the same as you, but no official post from Blizzard saying that D3 open beta is just an tutorial and that the release will be more challanging.
If you find it, Ill admit my error and Ill buy D3. But I guess you wont, because you got your info from an other fan.

Here, watch this.

They admit that normal is baby mode. I dont want to play a whole freaking game on baby mode before I am actaly aloved to play the game. They should have had normal AND hard mode as an option for thousee who want more challange then tha retard easy mode.
Lost where no man has been lost before.

@ ZtriDer

So you complain that the first 1/3 of Normal Act 1 isn't hard? Have you ever played D2? Have you ever played PoE?

Seriously, stop trolling.

D3 isn't so bad as you say. But PoE or Grim Dawn is still much better^^
I just deliberately read those asinine 'see you at launch!' dismissals as 'see you at lunch!' and my reply is always, 'only if you're buying, honey.'
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
It is undeniable. As a player of D2, classic WoW and every other WoW-child after that, the game has grown simplistic as the audience for the game grew.

Diablo 3 looks great. In fact, I've pre-ordered it. But that is because I love the Diablo series. If not for Diablo, I would not have played WoW, or Warcraft 3. A huge chunk of my early life was wasted on Diablo. That being said, having played the BETA, I don't have a lot of hopes that it'll be great, like Diablo 2 was when it came out.

It is has been designed to be easy, I get it. However, I'm finding the game was designed not just to be easy, but children-under-12-easy. I cannot see how you can find the leveling scheme anything but boring. There is no creativity to it. What creativity they do give you is severely limited, hindered by an over-the-top desire to cater to every audience.

The only reason I can see for this is if they intend to have a bunch of 60+ year old people playing it. I don't mean that crudely, however. My father is nearing that age, and being a lifelong gamer, he would find this shamefully dumbed down.

I do hope Blizzard changes. Nonetheless, I am sure Diablo 3 will have commercial success and I doubt Activision cares about anything else.

Personally, I think it is pretty amusing that a small and independent company such as GGG has a game that can be comparable to Diablo III which is made by a company that has God-who-knows-how-much.

I want to buy D3 but I really think I am drinking the Blizzard Kool-Aid. After quitting Cata 3 months in and a very disappointing SC2 (Where are the other 2 stories, oh ya 4 years later and an extra $80), I have a feeling that D3 will be a bigger fail than both those combined.

I think Blizzard is done (D3 is the turning point for them) and I need to step up and vote with my wallet.

I love what GGG has done and this next payday I can finally buy my Bronze Kiwi pet. For the 18 devs taking on the big bad billion $ Blizz, I think you have done a fine job. I am going to lay low come open beta because I don't want to spoil act 3 until PoE is released.

Thank you GGG for giving me a fresh glass of water not spiked with Kool-Aid.

Care to elaborate why you feel it's the turning point? Besides the pointless SC2 comments and the Kool-aids references. Do you have anything to add to your argument that holds water (or Kool-Aid if you'd prefer)?

This kids parents dont have $50 to spare for a real ARPG. Let him have hes fun in 2nd class, low-budget game, like PoE.

I'll play D3, won't even touch PoE, hearing that "46,911 people tried out the game" as Diablo 3 has already been rumored to sell 5 Million copies. Lol.

Most of the people in D3 beta have never even heard of this game.

People like this are really turning me away from D3, and the "see you at lunch" fanbabies too.

Thank you again GGG for bringing in the more mature gamers to the private beta key forums.
