Diablo 3 played and here are the grim result's

I'll try to be short as posible with much as information as i can remember.

Main apeal of the game is questing and WoW felling. Did i say it's Diablo 3 ? It's more like World of diablo 3.


Visual:

- It's WoW theme based cartonish graphic. Nothing more to say here.

Gameplay:

- Your literally being held hand for the entire game.
- There is no such thing of explorarion. Direct path leading you to the quest's.
- Don't even think about random items droping.
- It's made for 10-12 old's and chat is behaving like that.
- There are few mobs left and right and that's about it (yes seriusly, no joke).
- Bosses are a joke. Extremly easy (Brutus woud be nerfed to hell and back in diablo 3 LOL).
- I understand it's beta and all, but there is only 1 act and max lvl 13-15. For 7 years of developers, wtf ?


I tried WAR, SWTOR and said myself: "This wont last long" and i have right. I have same grim expectation for D3 to not last long.

The only good thing about Diablo 3 which i really like! That all whiners and lazy kids will go to Diablo 3.


That is all as i wont start to talk other horror stories how everthing is pink and colorful in (supposed) "dark gothic" game.


Edit: I'm ashamed know to show Diablo 3 to my nephue, he has such extreme expectation of it =/

Yea, i am not that harsh, but the game is not "dark" enough for me, way too cartoonish, too slow, too many tips/helps, maps pointing everything, loot drop is not shared (thou i can understand the idea behind it, not sure if it is the right one, or implemented the correct way) . . .

The game is not bad, but NOT what i actually expected . . .

After playing POE i felt Diablo 3 somewhat bland . . . something is missing . . .

So much hate, it's amusing to read this shit.

It might be a bit cartoonish but if you honestly think D3 isn't 'dark' or grim, you're blind, simple as that. PoE looks very boring compared to D3, but in the end, graphics are mainly opinion based.

That is kind of true, but really, it's not THAT big a deal...and to some extent, this happens in PoE too.

I'm really not sure how you think PoE has any more to explore. Comparing 2 full acts to 1/3 of 1st act is hardly fair.

Optional chat in a super popular game has retards in it? Shocker i know, hardly means the game was made for those idiots.

I'm not even sure what you're trying to say, there are plenty of mobs around (no joke lol).

Yawn...1/3 of 1st act on easiest difficulty, what did you expect? Btw PoE is piss easy even through hardest difficulty, so there. (ok Chaos levels CAN be hard but that's it).

It's because they don't want to spoil too much before actual release, and personally, i'm fine with that.


PoE is still a great game btw, just not quite as smooth to play as D3.

Your sentence has no logical meaning. Do you rage that they dont allow you to play more of their game?

Personally, I think it is pretty amusing that a small and independent company such as GGG has a game that can be comparable to Diablo III which is made by a company that has God-who-knows-how-much.

This guy hasn't even played the beta, and should be considered a troll.

Haha, so true.

Just played the open beta (d3 beta is open from 20.4 - 22.4, pretty much a stresstest weekend).

The graphics are actually the best thing about the game. While it may look cartoonish on screenshots, etc., you can see that they've put a lot of work into the details and the little things here and there and the animations and scripted stuff are pretty nice.

Gameplay wise, pretty much all of the features that made D2 great have been taken out or automatized.

Also no skill/stat point distribution, you just plain don't have a choice.

I can see myself getting and playing it once when the price goes down just for the lore, but compared to the freedom you had in D2, it's a freaking trainwreck.
