Harvest could be worst league ever?

Harvest mechanics totally waste of time and booooring. Seed drops like a moron always i got x seed 100 - y seed 0 - z seed 150. U must be no lifer for this game, this game hate casual players... Sorry for english but league have ton of shits.

Or you can take the Call to Arms keystone and assign warcries to your left click mouse button. This helps a lot.

still: awesome rework! (not)

Agreed worst league so far... After a few action packed leagues this one bored me to the core in 5 days time.

Nobody cares about market value either. I dont know what point you are trying to make here either. This league mirror tier gear is free so its pointless to even bring that up. What you need to consider is how accessible gear is (and not how much it costs), how clunky it is, what setup it requires, does it have good clear or is it good for bosses, such things matter. The first build to do endgame bosses for like 10th league in a row is miner. Its cheap, strong AF, safe and upopular. Why? Because its clunky. Why would they nerf something that sees barely any use? They wont buff it either because its already top tier. Thats what you must consider, not just "this strong > nerf, this weak > buff", its not that simple.

I'll just focus on this to keep it short.

Free mirror tier gear really? If it was "free" don't you think people would have stayed to get this "free stuff". You ignore market value and say all this shit is easy. Accessibility to gear requires resources and being part of the first crowd reliably taking down bosses grants said resources before they depreciate as the rest of the league catches up.

Do you only use things you find in a trade league? Or do you "trade"?
And to facilitate that, you've got to find stuff worth trading, and thus invest time.

Miner is hardly top tier - it's just pretty much the cheapest thing you can scale up to reliably kill bosses. Why does cheap matter? Because it takes TIME to build up currency and for pretty things to come up on the market for sale. Early league is when most things are most profitable because very little TIME has passed so there's less competition and more people in need. SRS used to be used the same way, but it got nerfed ages ago.

Cyclone's inherent popularity isn't ease of use - but constant mobility. In delirium one of the first problems that had to be addressed were on death effects that were heavily obscured by the fog. Moving constantly significantly reduced the likelihood of dying not only to that but from being overwhelmed by sheer numbers as they didn't go down instantly like the usual waves.

Delirium set the bar insanely high but to truly appreciate how high it is now you actually had to experience the content first hand. It's probably a good thing that it's so hard to acquire the splinters just for simulacrum (now) as it's just offers a taste of what t16+ 100% delirium is like. To do the highest content you are going to trivialize everything else, but if balancing is applied with only basic content in mind then it pigeonholes the player base to stick to whatever few setups can actually scale up high enough in both damage and survivability if they want to successfully complete that content.

Yep, totally over league play.
I've changed my mind and decided I like this league now after all.

Why?

Because due to the league, and equally the removal of the disable bloom button; I have had a pleasant few weeks rediscovering other games again and taking a long overdue break from PoE.

Thanks GGG. I would have probably carried on playing PoE non-stop without this league and bloom. As it is, this has been the first few weeks since I initially started playing back in Harbinger (almost 3 years now) that I haven't even updated my client. I had literally played almost every day since Harb without fail.

Now I've remembered that there are other things to do than play PoE. Once I realised that I had stopped getting headaches without "blooming" I haven't even missed it as much as I thought I would have. Mind you, without the "bloom migraines" I probably would have found it much harder to go without and played in Standard all this time.

Who knows, if they keep up this fantastic line of new development & forcing health problems onto people, I might even forget that it's installed altogether :)
I loved Path of Exile.
I do not love Path of RNG.
Bloom gives me migraines, the over usage of darkness strains my eyes.
Save our game, remove all of the constant RNG and allow us to turn off Bloom or give us an in game brightness control!

Uber Atziri was dead after 12h. What resources are we talking about here? You realize people play SSF and do this within 1 or 2 days? Also yes, mirror tier gear is free this league. The fact that you refuse to use league mechaninc is not devs problem.

Yes i do trade, rarelly. Thats your problem here, you focus to much on trading. It should have never been a thing, thats why we dont have gold in this game. They made a mistake and now we have AH warriors that dont care how usefull an item is but how much it costs.

Wrong again. SSF exist. Every build creator agrees that mines are top tier. They are just clunky to use. You dont need currency, especially this league. Its not cheap, its not very dependent on gear. There is a huge difference here. Stop bringing market value up because people do those things on SSF within 2 days.

Cyclone was popular since melee buff. Thats not just delirium thing. It is popular because its an autopilot build that is good enough. The less player input a build needs the more likely it is to be popular. That was always the case, every single league. Arc that could clear 3 screens away, autobomber, storm brand, BV and many others.

Delirium is not a benchmark. It is there purely for epeen measurement and barely anyone play such content. Its irrelevant. Nobody balances around delve 2000, nobody balances around t19 100% delirium either. That would be stupid thing to do. Nobody cares for 0.001% of players who even attempt that.

No wonder you think so much of this stuff is irrelevant, you've never done it.

When your max level is 91 and you've never beaten Sirus, there's no way you'd be able to grasp just how far the bar goes beyond him.

I'm quite familiar with SSF, most of my Legion, you know, the CYCLONE league was done as SSF. But as I needed to upgrade my weapon and crafting in SSF is even more of a gamble I moved him out and finished the league in trade. And I definitely stuck around long enough to unlock the 5 socket map in SSF but failing shaper wasn't worth the risk since Guardian Map drops weren't dropping frequently enough to just farm it in SSF, at least not unless I went at streamer map-clear speed which is not enjoyable for me at all.

I deleted most of my chars when they went to standard. I did everything when shaper was a thing, when he was still hard, now i dont really care. I prefer making junky builds and try to make them work. I stopped caring about "endgame" in bestiary i believe but thats irrelevant. My point still stands, nobody plays such content. A8 is the last relevant bit of content, everything else is for bragging rights, nothing more. You gain nothing by going further.

Harvest gives you all the tools you need to make great gear and its free. Again the fact that you refuse to use it doesnt mean its not there and thats not devs problem.

I dont care what you did (unlike you as seen above) and in what league. Its not the point. What im saying is that you never balance around 0.001%. You always take middle ground, where its the most relevant. Thats the case in every PvE focused games. You start going to extremes in any direction and you will fail.
