Why nerf dual wielding? Whats the point of it now?

Oh the DW ddamage buff is only "more physical damage", no wonder i barely even noticed any damage difference when exchanged one of my Raiders claws for a shield earlier today.

From the patch notes: "The Saviour: Mirage Warriors have been renamed Mirage Saviours, to differentiate them from those created by General's Cry. Strike skills used by Mirage Saviours cannot hit additional targets. This affects all existing versions of the item. This change is required to maintain server performance, as builds using The Saviour with certain Strike skills were causing enough calculations to put noticeable strain on the servers. It was accidentally missed in the Development Manifest".

If you do a search for The Saviour in them it'll be the only thing that pops up. So upon closer inspection of the poe wiki cyclone isn't a strike skill, so it shouldn't apply to Cyclone at least, which is nice since i'm not currently a fan of any of the other strike skills that I've tried.

Either i dont understand how Saviors minions work or you dont understand what that patch note says.

As far as i know Saviour summons 2 minions who attack enemies for 10 seconds using the skill you used to summon them. Only think changing after patch is that if the skill the minions use is a Strike skill it will only hit one target per attack even if you have it linked to Ancestral Call and have Tribal Fury annointed on your amulet making the skill hit 5 enemies per attack when you use it yourself.

To OP
to be on same bad level as other melee builds.
They should have buffed other choices or nerf OP builds but no they nerfed DW ...

If you really are then here it is LOL :

before, a hit of 100 damage would do 120 damage

Now it does 100 damage

They took 20 damage out of 120 damage

20/120 = 1/6
Melee in poe hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
So all you really end up having is playing the economy, and plowing maps. And if you want to get anywhere on your character, you are better off mowing monsters down like weeds and just collecting pennies of the ground as fast as possible than any meaningful item hunting.
NO way! I thought to try that league, but after path notes i dont want it anymore. Please just revert that :(
If things will go that way the only thing to do to say no is to avoid play PoE.
Really nice nerf. Even introduction of that change No explanation from ggg how cries or new support gem and tree changes can compensate it for fast attack builds.
After buff armour to monsters and fortify less damage instead of reduced, just can't believe :(.
It was hard to level dual wield characters with that 20% in ssf hc, now just too much pain for melee leveling.
Game should be about fun, not pain. I just cant kill act 1 boss or Innocence like that, they kill me 90% now. 10-20 portals? Thanks, NO.
