Why nerf dual wielding? Whats the point of it now?

That is a lot of supporter icons!

That's really not my realm. Trading away content that i can enjoy myself? Just because i might fail and don't get the loot (which is worthless most of the time anyway)? No, thanks, i rather run the stuff.
Just ran a pure xoph breachstone that i had lying around with my double strike champion, just to see if he could handle it. And guess what, he finished the thing with 30 seconds left. I actually had to slow down a few times for the breach to catch up :/
And xoph didn't drop the freaking amulet... again. Must have run like 10 of his breachstones by now and still no amulet...

I'll definetely try out simulacrum as soon as i get the first 300 splinters together, but given that i don't trade, it might take a few months...

Xoph is still in the easy zone though - you're not pressed for time like the pure xul and chayula.

Since you don't trade to put it in perspective xul pure was about 100c and chayula was 300c around the last month of delirium. A plain chayula was about 100c. Simulacrum was 100c at the time, though given the rarity I'm betting that's higher in std. I ended up keeping 1800 splinters in frag state to prevent it from taking up too much space.

Like the reason VD is a thing again now, melee got hit so hard spellslinger basically brought back the poet's pen style play. It's pretty tough getting spells to scale up to the levels needed, and vd/des create multiple projectiles reliably. Stuff like arc is still ok for enemies in close prox but lousy for single.

Sure there's a bit of "branding" but for a league that touted melee it didn't do it any real favors.
Yep, totally over league play.
