Have you reported the bugs you think you have ?

Cause bugs is the only problem PoE has /s

How would PoE stand the test of time without temporary boosts from leagues.

My guess isnt that well...

Why bring up absurd hypotheticals?

Ok.....my god bro.

Just check out the forums sections dedicated to bugs, and review GGG patch notes.

They are fixing bugs all the time. Some bigger than others. This league began with an epic amount of hot fixes.

Hell you cant even complete the Altas right now! (Perandus and Doryani)

Thats the point. GGG has found a way to keep players playing this game even for 8 years. If other games, Wolcen for example, wont find anything like that it will be dead after couple months.

That was kind of my point.
Thanks for all the fish!

Oh I understand that.

The difference is the finance model. PoE had to use league traffic and mtx to fund the game (and they did pretty well), while Wolcen doesn't have to do that. They can realease content as add on's like Grim Dawn, and do patching.

Based on the numbers so far, they did fairly well for a studio that size.

You are saying that brand new game in its first 2-3 days is more popular than PoE in the 3rd month of the league?
No shit sherlock...

POE maximum ever concurrent players on Steam was 123k in 7 years. That includes all POE's biggest updates and expansions.

Wolcen hit 127k concurrent players yesterday.

As far as I know, Wolcen doesn’t have a stand-alone client. Everyone who wants to play Wolcen is on Steam.

Apples and oranges.
Thanks for all the fish!

You people really try hard to find reasons to hate. It's quite pathetic. I specifically quoted OP talking about "fixing POE for a change". Do you know what "fixing" means ?

I think PoE is not perfect either and have a bunch of ideas like everyone else. However, I do not feel entitled to have my personal opinion implemented. Demanding a "fix" for things you want changed is rather childish but not unexpected.

That is unfortunate. A game can have bugs. Despite popular belief, GGG is actually quite good at fixing them, as you just said yourself.

Overall way more rational content in your post than the OP.

Good for them.

If they can compete in the long run, very good for them. I tried Wolcen. Absolutely not my cup of tea. Forced auto attacks? Most skills based on cooldowns? Dual resources system? Not a fan of any of those, and severely limits your playstyle and options. If not directly, indirectly. In my experience, it became what most people bash PoE for being: Clunky.

But I can see why people might like it. And if they can give most people 50 entertaining hours, it's a success. Is it, as of now, a game that will make its mark on the amount of PoE players come next league? Doubt it.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
