Having us kill civilians in Oriath Square is tasteless.

I'm actually disappointed that that "SJWs suck!" rant (thank you, whoever you are, I'm sorry I don't remember your name) was deleted by a mod.

It didn't really break the CoC in any way I can see ("obnoxious antagonism" is such an ambiguous and therefore bullshit guideline) and yet perfectly illustrated the kind of response I predicted in the OP in an almost stereotypically accurate fashion.

Thanks again, sir! Your sacrifice did not go unnoticed. I'd buy you a beer if I remembered who you were.

So you're admitting that your thread is just to troll people and to bait obvious replies?
I dont kill anything. My minions do though. I'll reprimand them sternly. /s
I think it's kind of illuminating that OP isn't responding to my posts, which defend the presence and vulnerability of the civilians on thematic grounds. He seems to only be here to call out people lazily fighting The Culture War and backpat people who have taken his side. Collecting screencaps for a hitpiece, are you?

This statement is much more valid than OP, but if you cared about it enough to make a thread, it'd be a sign you don't have enough real problems in your life.

Posts like this, you mean?

I respond to posts I find genuinely interesting, whether they agree with my position or not.

If I responded to every random shitpost, about half of the thread would consist of posts by me. And they'd be quite boring to read as well, so be glad I do not.

A thematic defense only works if there is narrative coherence throughout the campaign regarding your character's moral ambiguity in the first place, so if that was your contribution, then yeah, I probably didn't find it a particularly compelling comment.

Edit:

This one was quite clever, however. Forgive me for not having praised you for it:

Can you raise them as Spectres and support them with Feeding Frenzy? Do they jab at monsters? Or just run around and sob?

They run away as soon you come close to enemies.
No matter if standard AI or with feeding frenzy.

But i saw they are at least cool looking pets when combined with that celestial MTX.

They still do the same screams / random babbling in spectre form.

I'll guess this is the post you felt should have been responded too?

Your argument is what is called a straw man argument. For your argument to be reasonable the frogs would never attack the character and instead run away or whimper or something. Since the frogs attack the character your argument fails.

Regarding your "real problems" point, you ignore the statements in the OP where he indicates that it is not a big deal just kind of tasteless, which I personally agree with.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

The prophecy frogs actually do run away and not attack you.

But yes, it is indeed a logically fallacious argument.

look , the people of oriath are not innocent.
the lore points to some pretty shady stuff that they have done over time.

the civilians are also not that bright , as a big crazy monster appears and they do not run inside the nearby buildings

at some point their deaths are just natural selection working.

i mean at this point in the story , you have already killed massive amounts of animals and people , simply for being in your way. I say killing the civilians completely fits the ideology of our characters mindset.

That's emphasized extremely heavily in the characters backstories. The Shadow was an Assassin, the Duelist was a Gladiator, the Scion killed a dude for the lulz because she didn't want to marry him, and the Ranger just likes to kill things.

The only ones who aren't murderers just for the sake of killing are the Templar and Marauder, and it's way beyond heavily emphasized why the Templar would actively want to kill them through the whole game.

You clearly don't know anything about the game, you mentioned not responding to every random shitpost when you're shitposting harder than everybody with this whole thread.

Edit: Typo.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

This thread should be locked. Nothing good comes from such troll posts like the OP. Like insulting those who dislike SJWs "less thoughtful". What a nice way to start a thread...
