Crashes, 5700 XT AMD Issue?

On initial startup, the game will be really choppy, but it will wear off once the cache is built. Basically every time you would see some new effect/skill/location/mts for the first time, you can expect fps drop, next encounter with such effect will no longer will be choppy.

Quick question, does the cache get rebuilt every session, so for someone like me who plays 30 minutes at a time it would never really get better? Or is it that we play, stutter every time we encounter something new then it will be fine for the rest of the season once we've seen everything? My assumption is that cache is not persistent thus needs to be rebuilt after every restart?

If you are using the cache enabled (default option), the cache is saved, so restarting the game will not make you start from scratch. (it is persistent)
If you use cache disabled option, then it is regenerated each time you start the game.

If you have furhter question about the workaround, please post them here, so we have those on one place.

To bad, didn't work at all.

Heading directly to Crossroads ACT II - collecting organs and as soon as
you can barely read "Show Tane..." Blackscreen - CTD.

DxDiag send by PM.

:-/

I can't even log in now , I was able to play little bit while avoiding metamorphs , now i can't even move , latest update ruined everything even more...
Idk what they did, but worked for me, i didnt get crash for ~4hrs, played almost through whole act 2 and in every map i did Tane, in some even twice, and i didnt get crash.
I have been lurking the AMD subreddit and have not seen any mentions of Path specifically. But there are threads over the last few days where people are stating similar issues. Black screen that results in having to reboot the whole PC. Starting to wonder if this is more of an AMD side thing? But weird since I have not been having issues in any other game so far.

Same problem, starting at The Old Fields in act 2.
3 Crashes till now. Happens with AMD Driver Adrenalin 2020 19.12.2 and Adrenalin 2019 19.12.1. No issues with oder games...

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
AMD Ryzen 9 2900X - X570 Chipset - AGESA 1.0.0.4b
16GB RAM
Win 10 1909 - Build 18363.535 (newest)

Version 3.0.9b and still crashes whenever Tane spawns... Tested on driver versions AMD Adrenalin 2019 19.12.1 and Adrenalin 2020 19.12.2

3.9.0e seems to work for me :D (on Adrenalin 2020 19.12.2)

I've had it happen to me once in League of Legends, and a few times by going into a RDP session.
I have been having this exact same issue since the patch then tane shows up instant crash. I have an r900 series graphics card.
Riverways A6 and Ashen Fields & Northern Forest A7 still crash, it´s a similar tileset, so it might have something to do with that.

Will report further crashes if they happen.
