Sent my dxdiag to the staff member. I've actually gone from occasional Tane crashes to now crashing within 5 seconds of launching the game so I can't even play now. This happened after I reset my pc because it was performing so horribly. Have tried many variations of settings in radeon (as well as closing all the radeon stuff as some suggested) and my drivers are definitely upto date. Card is the R9 280. Same thing every time "The gpu device instance has been suspended".

Try using the drivers from Oktober, this will stop with the BSOD.

This actually did help in letting me launch the game again so huge thank you. Haven't been able to determine if the Tane crashes will still happen but honestly I can live with them since they have been happening less and less for me. Hope they fix it properly soon though.

Glad it worked! The new drivers from AMD, don´t seem to run well with the 280 cards, but the old ones from October run fine. I played from A3 to A6 without any crashes.

I have bought RX 5700xt couple of days ago because it was by far the most cost efficient option in my country, and now I'm thinking of returning it. Worst case scenario I can skip this league, but how is this card doing in other games and how it was doing in recent leagues? Should I be worried and return it or is it fine otherwise?

AMD does have good cards, especially the 8GB Vram will help a lot in the future, plus RDNA will become faster as time goes on. AMD has a history of improving the performance of their cards through time.

There is nothing wrong with using AMD, but just like with Nvidia, certain games can be trouble, that being said, RDNA is in my opinion the way to go, Nvidia will bring a new generation (Ampere) in 2020, I would go for this one, or the new RDNA of AMD.

Buying old technology, is not recommended, so close before a new generation.

So basically what everyone is saying is that its not fixed then? I haven't hada chance to check on my end yet

Not fixed for me - that is for sure. attempted 3 times.. all 3 I had to hard restart because I black screened and could not get anything to come back up ..
Same here i am crashing after all these updates too when i encounter Tane, didn't help at all, same GPU drivers just go crazy and i have to restart PC to be able to go back to game.

AMD HD8670M
Intel Core i5-4200U
4gb RAM

Ik these aren't that good for smoothst play, but never i had a problems that make me being unable to play this game.
Obviously there is problem for AMD users.

Hope GGG fix this before they implement auto loot for body parts, because then we won't have option to not activate Tane, so we will have non-stop crashes.

I only have issues with PoE. MHW, WF, E:D all work flawlessly for me.

I had issues in several games. MHWorld crashes just like PoE - black screen and music keeps playing in the background. Yesterday after I got the crash in PoE (Imperial Gardens, when Tane spawned) I decided to play Destiny 2, and it also had an issue, but a different one (this one has a solution of turning off Radeon Enhanced Sync, I'll try it this evening in PoE).

Odd, MH:W works flawlessly for me. Which drivers do you have? And have you Relive turned on by any chance?
I haven't seen anyone with a 5700xt saying they are still crashing. Perhaps, if thats the card they tested it on, its resolved crashing on just the 5700 XT... (which will help me but sadly not everyone)
Tried it 3 times and got 3 hard crashes so far.
RX 5700 XT..
Still Crashing / Pc Freezing.

So i just tested it in Act 2, act 1 works fine without Problems while he is spawning when u pick up organs
act 2 = complete PC Freezes (need to hard restart my pc) or game crashes because of videocardissue error / or no error!

I dont pick up anymore organs so he dont spawn, and i dont get any Crashes/ pc Freezes!
(STEAM CLIENT)

SPECS:
FX 8120
R9 280X (newest driver)(the driverversion before a few weeks also didnt work)
1tb HDD
750W psu
970 Extreme3 rev2

so my pc is handeling that game easily on 80- 120 FPS so my pc isnt the problem, also tested it on Stresstst for over 12 Hours, no Problems on my side, Pc is working fine without issues

Can anyone tell me the differences between steam and Standalone client if there is some?
i mean people say that they dont have that problem on SA version... but on Steam... so whats ur opinion?

Peace and thank u for ur answers!
I've created a thread with detailed information/instruction for vulkan workaround, along with better selection of possible vulkan tuning, therefore if you have any issues with the vulkan, please post it in that thread instead of here.

Also, lets see if this force GGG to finally provide a proper statement regarding vulkan workaround :)

I was occasionally crashing as anyone else with a 5700XT however this forced me to try the game on linux...
Installed steam flatpak on Arch and aside from initial stuttering due to shaders being compiled, the game now runs wonders

GGG please speed up development of a native linux vulkan based client so we don't ever have to go trough something like this again

PS. Never seen a flat render time line on windows and amd

You could have just used that vulkan workaround I posted. It is doing the exactly same way as on linux (using dxvk to run the game), so even waiting for shaders to be compiled is there :D

Edit: you mean this flat? (vulkan on windows)
