Arrows that collide with terrain now have a chance of bouncing off. This doesn't do anything other than look really cool (and help performance in situations where players are firing thousands of arrows).


can anyone see the paradox ? :)

You can no longer craft +1 to Maximum number of Curses on Body Armours or Unveil it from Immortal Syndicate members.

The Supported by Maim modifier from Serrated Fossils can no longer roll on Body Armours.

The added Maximum Life and increased Life modifier from Pristine Fossils can no longer roll.

Unless they mean the arrows will bounce off and disappear so the game doesn't have to track it anymore
Unique monsters have 10% more life. Ok, need some difficulty.

1. Good. This is a buff for melee.
Punishment now good.
Now causes cursed enemies to have -20% to Reduced Physical Damage Taken.
The duration of the buff granted by cursed enemies when they hit you now matches the base duration of the curse, which is 9 seconds at gem level 1 (from 4).

What about other curses that can use melee? Nothing.

2. Not a great change. "Monster resistances throughout the game have been reviewed and made more consistent. In many cases this has resulted in more resistances on monsters" That result in less utility with some melee skills that deal dmg as extra elemental.

3. Beyond than stupid.
Monsters throughout the game now have more armour, from 33% at level 1 up to 2762% at level 84.
Especially Idiotic for skills that deal fast small hits. And classes that depend on attack speed. Berserker less, Juggernaut more.
Armour was in good state.
Melee need buff, not a nerf.
Rares with big hp already hard to kill, look like it better now to avoid rare monsters often.

4. Hidden nerf. Two hand and dual wield clusters changed position. Shild cluster now in place of dual wield. Two hand is far away too. Totems on that place. Now you forced to take down path, or forger that clusters?

Good for shields, but need some additional connection paths to dual wield or two handed clusters for better experience.

5. Point blank nerf for projectile skills.. Some melee skills use projectiles.
50% less on distance wasnt good. But does it worth point now? I think something like "25% more dmg close. 10% less far away" could be better. Or even 20% more close to (-5.. +0)% far away is better.


I really disappointing with changes 3, 4. Still want to test if punishment can help now.

The Veiled and crafted modifiers with hybrid defenses (Armour, Energy Shield or Evasion) and life have had their values halved, and their tier progression split by item type.


I presume this doesn't include the Hybrid ES + Stun and Block recovery mod and others similar right ? just the hybrids with life are affected correct ?

This is so counter to what Path of Exile used to be about. You make fun skills, and when people actually use them, you make them impossible to have fun with. Only you, GGG.
