Nah I'm not wasting my time because you aren't ever going to get off the "melee sucks" train no matter what anyone says. If there is an issue targeting in your example then it must be with being unarmed. I've played plenty of single target melee over the years without multi-strike or ancestral call without any issues.

that is 4.6k +MoM so the sponge pool is similar

i would pick that and perma-dead enemies from offscreen. dont compare melee playstyle when you are banged all the time (because no range) to how ranged should play. his defences are perfectly OK for him (if im not mistaken he is lvl 97. he wouldnt be if that was a squishy build..

OK dude now you are going too far.

You have any fucking idea how tanky a Berserker can be with 12000 ehp MoM, perma mana/life leech cap, 25% instant max mana/life instant heal every 1.8 seconds and 5 defensive utility flask? Just with picked up rare items, no nebuloch farm or whatever.

Not to mention also the flat life/mana region from rallying cry/enduring cry, the permanent having of 3 endurance charges and probably still having a 10-20k armour chunk + molten shell.

And OF COURSE no 10% increased damage taken because he doesnt need that shit anymore?

i know. but he did not use these or am i missing it?

zerk mom is legit (albeit only for builds that dont require much damage from the tree as the opportunity cost is very high) but it has nothing to do with this GH showcase

I don't. But I know from experience that you can't always offscreen everything, well maybe you can with 5 million + dps, never had that much. But with 500k you can't and with so little defense you die like a fly as soon as something gets close. And melee doesn't get banged all the time. The monsters have maybe 1 second to hit you before they are wiped out and with leech you don't even see the damage most of the time.

That caster on the other hand, if he runs out of charges on his life flask he can't heal at all. That's not an issue during mapping but in bossfights it will, unless, again, you have enough dps to insta delete bosses.

Anyway this entire discussion is proven to be pointless at this point. You've been bashing GH this entire topic, then someone actually goes to the trouble to prove that a strike skill can yield similar results and effectiveness as your favored ranged skills and you just dismiss it and switch over to complain about IB. So just stay in your little "melee is bad world". The rest of us knows it better.

Yeah i tried it, not t15 though. Those Inpulsa like blows are from combo of melee spash from the threshold jewel and HoI. You can still blow up enemies without HoI just in smaller area.

Don't get me wrong that i'm advocating that this T15 is a piece of cake, cause it's not. You can see i'm working for it, but there's fun to it 100%. Truth to be told i lost 2 T15 blighteds out of 5 while testing but that was not the build or melee problem but stupid Blight unfixed mechanic where you clear one side and on the other you have 2-3 rushing monsters out of nowhere that hit the pump. That happens 2-3 times and you lose the map. I don't even look at the screen when playing Blighted maps but minimap because i can't see wtf is going on on the screen from the clusterfuck.

It's definitely viable for heavy clear. T15's Blighted are not easy if you don't have braindead build that you just walkaround with (totems, brands, minions...) and the damage can be pretty high so one shots are possible.

I've finished the build and tested it in various situations. Will release the guide with videos on Saturday most likely in Berserker section. Ill msg you.

It's fine rly. I'm playing on Athlon X4 from 2010 with GeForce 1050 and my cpu is a big bottleneck. If i managed to pull of Blighteds your pc can do it even better.

Agreed. If bow rangers and Blade Vortex chars can use it to boost clear, melee can use it too. Not like it's forbidden. Herald of Thunder and Purity are prob the weakest ones.

sorry but that is total bs. i do not want to downplay what he did - i respect that he kept his word and actually tried. but the end result is 'good' by POE 1.3 or 2.3 standards. not in 3.8. pom-pom playstyle is a thing of the past.it works but there is NOTHING, NOTHING it does better than competition.

go check tornado shot/scourge arrow, go check ball lightning mines, go check summoners, go check cwc magma orb... thats 3.8 where 'one pack at a time, point blank' does not cut it anymore
