Time to say goodbye to POE playing since 2012 - Hopefully 4.0 brings better!

I would wager that Kripp left PoE as HS makes him way more money.

When Tencent themselves say this league makes the servers take a huge laggy dump, I can't understand why people would even play HC.

Kripp quit because he made more money playing hearthstone.

That is definitely not a perfect build.

The game has it share of BS deaths, no doubt. It is why I don't bother playing HC. I just don't have the time as a casual player. I try to play in an HC style, meaning do everything I can to not die. However, there are just too many BS deaths. I had my first BS death this league in Acid Caverns at level 94. Then quickly had a second in the next map.

I can generally go through the league and do Shaper/Uber Elder with less than 7k health. However it is tricky because of the one shot scenarios even setup well. In HC, on this game, I would not even attempt it without being much higher. It is the hits, you literally don't see coming that get you.

And that has to change in 4.0, or some of the early supporters will surely quit forever, including me 100%!

Yep, been a problem for a long time. Been here since Closed Beta (2012), so have seen all the changes (good and bad) and all the non-changes (mostly bad). The fact that, as a HC player, you have so many things that can make you RIP, that has little to do with your actual game play is just bad.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

A lot of whining...

Dude, deaths to that sort of bullshit always sucks, I agree. But the amount of deaths to that sort of bullshit versus bad builds/human error is tiny. It's been a VERY long time since I've died because of GGG (read: A death that couldn't have been avoided if I played better/took more precautions).
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

The standards for what constitutes a perfect build seem to have declined considerably.

Kripp quit for the HS money.

In case you forgot he was one of, if not the, best racer in the game back in the day. And even outside of PoE he got the first ever inferno diablo kill in what was arguably a much more broken and rippy aRPG experience, that being pre nerf classic D3.

Also, I would argue the counterpoint that it is far easier to survive in PoE these days than it used to be, we have a huge swathe of defensive tools and items that never used to exist, not to mention the nerfing / removal of quite a few of the old school super rippy mods on monsters.

The fact still remains that you died to a joke of a map boss, with a mediocre build that you seem to believe is perfect for some reason.

I think game is just bullshit. No matter how perfect build i make i always RIP in HC at Tier 9 or Tier 12 maps.

Fucking ripped again, now from Tier 9 Promenade bosses like WTF. With 4 Specters + 9 zombies + 2 carrion golems. Stupid unbalanced bullshit.

I will maybe check the state of game in 4.0, but i doubt since you can RIP at level 84 Tier 9 Promenade map (Yeah sure). 6 RIPS already in HC Blight. Fucking wasting time cant make it to endgame as solo player most of the time.

You need to git gud at Log Out Macro, since many people bizarrely treat it as an intended part of the gameplay (why do people think quitting a game in order to play the game, is fun or intended?).
