^^^ This. I was heart broken when I got a PS4 and got to play post 2.1 stuff. Put in a like six hour grind session and my Crusader I'd been working on for months was completely done.

Jumped from Torment 4 to 10 that day and it was just like "For real? That's it, I'm done?". It was total bullshit.

Yes... no. Now try to get all ancients/primals/correct item rolls & augments, you'll actually get the gear faster in PoE assuming trade leagues/standard.

On-topic: In HC, judging by chat activity(820) and trade supplies blight league is a ghost town, was searching for a darkscorn and 2 in total at 16 ex each *sigh*.

I think it's a combination of WoW classic & Borderlands 3, a bland league mechanic.

That's actually my biggest problem with diablo, the bad kind of grind where you hope for exactly the right item with the right rolls and the right base to drop. There's no targeted farming, just play like an automaton and hope for it to drop. Terrible design.

yeah not talking about that lol and ofc poe it's easier in trade league because u can trade. then again i don't play trade league because trade is fucking lame on here.

To be fair - it is not realistic for the average forumer here to fully dive into the deepest game mechanics of either POE or D3.

I have done both.

In D3 - I was consistently ranked amongst the 5 Barbarians on the GRift leaderboards. I attained the #1 ranking twice before switching to POE.
In POE - I am the #1 delver at Depth 14,000. I only started playing this game in 2017.

My gear is GG in both games and I theory craft my own builds.

My experience is that it is much harder to top leaderboards in Diablo. Being good at solo boards is not enough, you must also have a top guild that is able to push group GRifts in order to upgrade gems for solo pushes. Group gameplay in Diablo is 100x better than POE.
