PoE is the shittiest game i have ever played tbh.

- Graphics: Sucks
- Atmosphere: Non-Existent
- Story: Is there one?
- Mobs: Yeah, it is great to kill some chicken looking mobs
- Gameplay: One shot pack, move to another and one shot them also, repeat process
- Difficulty: See above
- Loot Drops: None existent most of the time, need to trade.
- Interface & QoL: Clunky at best
- Multiplayer & Group Play: Non existent
- Server Quality & Smoothness: Another fail.

You definitely haven't played ET on Atari ;)

I am just lurking around in this thread after the heatwaves some pages ago. BUT: i can not let the atmosphere point stand.

THIS music is one of the best things that ever happened in an ARPG or hell: in a game.

There are a lot of atmospheric elements that make this game special. And don't forget the voice acting (except Chris Wilson as Vorici, i really don't like it, sorry man).

Graphics: POE is like WoW. It aged. But the design is consistent. With a signature that makes it destinctive.

The rest: let others argue with you. Heatwaves are bad for my health ;)
The Sirus fight is a disgrace.

Graphics aren't groundbreaking but they are far from horrid.
There's definitely an atmosphere, despite similar theme and matching genre I can clearly tell what is poe and what is D3 (for example)
The story is there, most just click and skip.
If everything looks like chickens to you you might want to have your eyes examined.
If you want to complain about difficulty please at least get as far as defeating shaper first.
You can't trade if you didn't find anything worth trading.
The interface is intuitive for most.
Some of the wealthiest players in game are heavy into group play. But most of us prefer solo.
Server quality - not perfect, but most complaints are really pibcak issues. The people expecting 99% uptime have unrealistic expectations for the internet since they probably were too young for dial-up.

sorry but making excuses for tencentggg when they know they messed up several times and even on blight not gonna change anything here.

What is it with people omitting the first line where I openly acknowledge there are problems and over-exaggeration is a disservice.

Sorry but game is trash. It is designed to fulfill gambling addiction. Everything is RNG based.

If it was that bad you wouldn't bother posting in its forum because you wouldn't care enough in the first place. Rng is found in any loot based game - Borderlands is RNG based yet still was successful enough to have more than 3 releases of its IP.
Yep, totally over league play.
To be fair: It's not about RNG. It's about the feeling of being rewarded. Of progress. And that's where Borderlands gets a lot right. POE atm? Not so much. Endless grinds and gambling (kind of) for a slight chance of a minor upgrade with only two to three real (tm) chase items? I don't know.

Especially when some builds get buffed through the roof every 3 months. I don't play a summoner. But what i heard means that you don't even need BiS to faceroll the game.

POE's greatest strength is also its strongest weakness. The diversity and the choices one has when building a character makes it very, very hard to balance rewards. Just take a look at the nerfs to Windripper, Atziri's Acuity, Kaom's Heart, Shavs, Mjölnir, Poet's Pen etc.

Atm POE feels like Path of Headhunter (normal, corrupted, double corrupted). To wear or to sell. That's a little bit too little imo.
The Sirus fight is a disgrace.
It would be lovely if they'd move away from this clear speed meta push that all the leagues have been about for a long time. I know that's not going to happen though, they've kind of lost their innovative edge they had in the beginning. It's kind of fun at first (going fast and everything dying etc), but becomes incredibly empty really quickly (obviously subjective though).

I wish there was a game between PoE and a contemporary Blade and Sword game. I love the default feel of PoE, and the world of PoE. But I'm starting to get bored of the gameplay and new leagues haven't been very exciting to me. I thought Delve was going to be a game changer; dark, atmospheric and promote slow and cautious exploration. But I was dead wrong there :P

Hm, you could try Wolcen. It is not THAT slow. But slower. And beautiful ;)

What account are you blazing through UE on I wonder?

He decided to challenge himself and do that without completing any challenges. That is hard.

Nearly 1 month into Blight and OP claims to be facerolling UE with one of the league meta minion builds yet only has 2 challenges completed. Is that even possible? OP has characters set to private so we can't see his build. This post definitely smells of troll.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat:

Or maybe OP has another account that's face-rolling UE and this account is just his, um, troll account?

Seriously, I struggle with folks who say they can't stand the game, and then spend all their time here talking about how they can't stand it. What a waste of time. Go play something you like.

And for the folks who say the game is way to easy? There are SO many ways to increase your personal challenge level if that's what you want to do.

There are perfectly good reasons not to like the game that have to do with personal preference, but "too easy" is not one of them. (If you're that good, go play SSF HC in a private league.)

Cheers
