They are not. The person everyone always talks about is aila, but he caved in a long time ago and bought stash tabs. He also hasn't won a race in a long time afaik. A guy named tie has been winning pretty much every race recently and he has extra stash tabs. This is also factoring in that SSF races are the least impacted by stash tabs due to no trading. And yet they racers still end up buying them for even that.

You have a hoarder mentality. Most of you have no clue what items are worth and hoard every piece of junk like its a fucking 6 t1 roll item.
Then you put it up for sale and expect people to pay the same price (or even more) as listed on other mediocre gear put up for sale by other clueless wannabe trade tycoons.

Been playing on 4 tabs since I joined. Back when I used to actively trade I'd end up moving to standard with more exalts than some people in my guild and my friend list that had premium tabs and in some cases played a lot more than I did.

PoE is not pay to win. PoE is pay to hoard and all you junkies should really learn to price your items and what items are worth keeping. Nobody is going to give you 75 c for a req lvl 54 pair of ar boots with 9 armour; 24 life; 21 fire res; 19 light res and 10 ms almost 2 months into the league. Yet if you go look for those rolls you'll find enough vendor trash listed for 75c +.

Oh for heavens sake. Can we stop murdering the established meanings to worlds and phrases.

Pay to win means i gib monies, i get power that no paying pleb can get. Simple as that.

Stash tabs are hardly pay to win.....unless your a kleptomaniac.

It's theoretically pay2win and that's all that matters for the sake of argument. You are paying money to get an advantage, in this case it's having an easier time with the game's deliberately bad design with handling loot and trade.

Stash tabs do provide an advantage and if that's not bad enough, they are also paywalled with no ways of grinding them. The only good thing about them are the price and the diminishing returns but that doesn't make the practice of selling benefits any better. It's awful game design that profits on just that, awful design.

People that are trying to rebrand it as "just convenience" are no better than EA who are desperately trying to rebrand lootboxes as surprise mechanics.

Unless you made 10 mule accounts and your brother handle the sorting, extra tabs is not p2w

But who cares anyway? You are paying for the fun and QoL

Take a little part in feeding developers and buying Chris a new yacht

the only things you can buy are either cosmestics or QoL stuff BUT THEY'RE NOT NEEDED.

Everyone gets the same content to play, can get the same skills, cant get a lvl boost or anything like that, cant give shaper 5$ to kill himself and get his loot.... the whole game is the same

By this logic, xp boosts or even straight up buying currency would also be qol and not p2w because you are only spending money to circumvent the grind needed to acquire them.
