Far from toxic. And it wasn't a straw man, because it's the direct opinion of several posters in here. You calling it straw man six times doesn't make it so.

How can it be a straw man when I didn't quote anything, didn't direct it at anything nor anyone and it wasn't part of a conversation? I didn't alter/simplify anyone's argument at all. A lot of people ACTUALLY believe that they should get everything for free in a "F2P" game.

See, I always thought that any mischaracterization, exaggeration, or oversimplification (which you implicitly admitted to while defending your own use of sarcasm) of an opposing viewpoint in order to make it easier to tear down or ridicule was, by definition, "attacking a straw man."

Just too bad that the sarcastic sentence in question was spot on, as people - in this thread and other threads - have said so, directly. Did I simplify it? In amount of words and letters, yes. Did I direct it at an "opponent"? No. Did I exaggerate? No. Did I "tear down" anything? No. Did I attack anything or anyone? No. Have I used a logic fallacy in form of a straw man in this thread? Probably, but that sentence isn't one of them.

If you felt hurt by that sentence, I'm terribly sorry.
