Stash tabs are pay to win because you can't become a trade tycoon without them.

if i sell alot of crap i can't play the game which would result in me finding more currency than i got from 2 to 3c trades.

Its quite easy.
Put all good stuff you finding to selling tabs. Make them all 'all items 5ex each'.

Enjoy.
Something becoming more convenient by using money isn't pay to win.

Pay to win is buying a booster or experience with money, locking end game content with daily lockout unless you pay to reset them, or just buying an character with a near end game level.

Yeah. Even more. Like buying access to next act with shop points, or paying 10$ for openin shaper and UE portals. Buying sulphite with real money, etc.

Oh, wait, its pay-to-play.
Oh. No.

xD

p2w is like buying 6l starforge for real money. But not the ordinary one, 6l sf what can be equipped in Act 1 like tabula. Thats will be for sure p2w, no doubt.

There are different p2wins though. Look at PoE, now look at Hearthstone. I've stopped playing Hearthstone years ago and never looked back but back then you needed 100+ dollars to equip yourself properly and even then its not like you could play every deck. Here its like what, 20 dollars to get the necessary stash tabs? Its much better.
I think I got it. P2W isn't Boolean. It's not yes or no. It's a stupid term that we shouldn't be applying at all to these games.

The question shouldn't be "Is PoE P2W?" It's "Are the purchases you can buy in PoE ethical?"
I argue that cosmetics are another advantage. Lets be real here, looking good is as important as being powerful for average consumer. It goes hand to hand. Noone want to look shit. F2P games abuse this psychology very well, fashioning regular items as shitty/boring as possible and selling good cosmetics for expensive price. Once you are addicted to the game and begin to waste hours daily, you feel urge to buy good shiny armor effects etc. That is non ethical, psychology abuse money making imo. It is like putting a well served dish in front of man who eats bread every day and saying you are good man, you eat bread every day why do you want to spend money on this served dish? It doesn't give any advantage over bread, they are both meal.
Even if it was, for the price of 20 dollars you get enough stash tabs to fully enjoy a game that will last you years and years with constant updates every 3 months.

It's hard to find better deal.

I doubt there's less than 20 people in the world saying "You know... I'd play PoE but I can't come up with enough money."

Hypothesis: Path of Exile is p2w.

Experiment: Play an entire league of Path of Exile with ONLY the 4 starting tabs. I did this back in breach league and let me tell you, IT WAS AWFUL. I made a second account and played the entire league on it, I had to find a balance between saving my currency and maps those items alone take up most your storage. It ended up being like Diablo 2 but instead of an inventory full of talismans that help me it was currencies and etc. It was entirely possible to play the game but it was SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE then my account with 20+ tabs.

Conclusion: You can play Path of Exile without buying tabs but it is without a doubt significantly easier (and arguably more fun) with tabs, how do you get tabs? You spend real life money, Path of Exile is pay 2 win.

What exactly did you "win" when you switched to account with a lot of stash tabs?

Your conclusion is wrong. Correct one will be "Path of Exile is pay 2 convenience".

More stash tabs=more trading=more currency=better gear. It is definitely P2W system.
