OPTION TO HIDE MTX ON OTHER PLAYERS

I didn't at all suggest that raising minimum specs solves the problem. You missed the point entirely.

As this whole discussion boils down to " I don't like this" and "it's the way it is" and "it's not going to change", raising the minimum specs would at least conclude the pointless discussions on the subject.

I'd be more inclined to participate in this discussion if those claiming MTX on people affect their performance have any proof at all, other than anecdotal examples. It's super easy to play on a bad PC and say "oh, my lag comes from this guy with his shiny wings, obviously". To me that screams jealousy, not factual evidence. It's not obvious at all.

If you want me to back anything, present me with an objective problem and I will take it very seriously. Until then, this whole titesome topic is pointless.

I've repeatedly posted that this performance drop became apparent in delve and beyond, I played Incursion and had 0 issues.

I should note that during incursion i was using a HDD and had great performance.

This became a problem with delve and every league since, after betrayal i upgraded to an SSD to alleviate my issues and it ceartainly helped but it did not do anything for me besides making my load times nearly instant.

GGG is only alienating long-time users at this point targetting specifically only those with abundant money to throw away constantly, thats gonna lose my support and a lot of other peoples support and you can see it clearly affecting the reviews and player counts.

I fight every day to try and convince friends to play this game over warframe and other f2p games that are much more forward thinking and somehow are still managing to make plenty of money to continue to develop great content.

During incursion when i would go chill and play a bit on standard there were plenty of people still active there and honestly until incursion league i was exclusively a standard player, If you can say that nothing bad is happening in this game and can explain why standard is now practically dead compared to just a few leagues ago i'd love to hear it.

The content in betrayal which i loved and im super happy to have it in the game caused more users to quit this game than almost any other patch before it, the performance impact it presented on top of MTX started getting people killed out of no fault of their own.

Also how the hell do you think someone with severe performance issues is going to add on another intensive video recording program will help?

Anyone saying yeah just go upgrade your pc, do you wanna give me 700$ to get a new cpu, motherboard, gpu that 3 leagues ago was having 0 issues with this game, yeah thats gonna net GGG some money for sure guys great logic there, Most people have some kind of budget they have to adhere to because they have actual bills and don't live in their parents houses rent and bill free.

Its rediculous, its not being addressed properly, Its going to hurt GGG eventually and by then it will be far too late.

The users suffering from this the most are not going to be able to afford to run that application at the same time to show these performance drops properly as it will cause its own massive drop in performance.

this is on GGG to find a solution, they have plenty of money to be able to build a pc that has their minimum, reccomended, and etc requirements to test this themselves, users doing their job for them is ludicrous especially ones that have payed money into GGG for years.

If they don't do tests on rigs with comparable stats to their minimum and reccomended requirements once in a while then they have no right to even call themselves developers.

I'm not saying they don't do this, just that if they don't its pretty bad and the way things have been going myself and im sure many people can only assume that they are not.

Hundreds of users and threads screaming about this for several leagues should be enough to get them to investigate and take this seriously.

edit: theres a tool out there that disables mtx and other things, its commonly known and the devs clearly say not to use it as you'll get banned but that wont stop people from doing so, the fact that someone out there is making a lot of money by selling this product should be a clear message to GGG that there is a serious problem, That money could be going to GGG if they manage to find a solution to the root cause that made said application attractive enough for people to risk getting banned over it.

There is no "risk" of getting banned. You break the rules by using that program, so it will get you banned. There's also a good reason for it that doesn't involve monetary income. All I hear is a lot of projecting and clearly biased assumptions.

I'm completely neutral on this subject. I like my shiny MTX, but if someone else is suffering for it, they should have a way to fix that for themselves without forcing me to turn it off. But like I said before, if you want to convince me, then do so with facts. Assumptions are useless.

as far as disabling the MTX i don't want that! i want to be seen lol, i want my accomplishments and purchases to be seen by other users.

But i have legitimately had severe drops in performance and despite upgrading to try and meet the increased requirements im just falling on my face lol.

I appreciate your constructive replys and a lot of what you are saying makes sense so my apologies if i was a bit too argumentative/combative in my recent posts.

I agree it would help to see some more substantial proof outside of some paragraphs here on the forum, Perhaps ill have to keep that in mind and try to get some actual data thats not just (i say so)

I believe it's quite difficult to be sure what is actually causing performance drops, even for GGG themselves, so I'm not surprised nobody has any concrete evidence on this subject, but if you want to see change, you need to be convincing.

Some MTX have been heavily affecting performance for me too, while my PC is by far good enough and kept squeeky clean as far as OS is concerned. But these MTX of all that I own, can be counted on one hand and none of them are armor or weapon skins. Mostly pets and hideout decorations.
