I'm gonna disagree with that. The only time I see players show off their MTXs are the ones who stand out in the middle of town away from the portals and the spawn location, preferably near the stashes. I only ever see 1 person doing this at a time and if they're not the ones doing it, then I am.

It's hard to see what MTXs people are using when there's 10+ of them stacked into one space as they dogpile a stash.

People get MTXs to make themselves look good, and only a few ever bother to flaunt it.

There is just too much mtx without any common theme, and there is that Garena pet which really triggers me.

I buy mtx for my own pleasure and couldn't care less how others are seeing my character.

Turning off others mtx needs to be a thing. I get a lagspike whenever someone loads into my hideout, not even mentioning party play.

I stopped looking at details of others long time ago - they are just colorful blobs to me, but improved performance i would appreciate.

This option should be a piece of cake to implement.

No, the point of MTX is to make your character more aesthetically pleasing to yourself. Nobody else wants to see your out of place rainbow warrior.

No, maybe YOU are the one in the wrong game. POE is supposed to be a dark a gritty atmosphere but all these rainbow warriors ruin it. Also, doing it to lag people out if a shitty thing to do.

i ll decide what thing to do with my ho.
and every mtx theme introduced is compatible with game's dark theme.
its always been good vs evil and art team is pretty consistent with their design.
anyway im not wrong.i know very well why mtxs are the way they are and why they will never change the way you think.
you might not wanna put yourself into a dev's shoes but this is how a free game is run.
