" I don't think I've insulted anybody in this thread, so please point them out to me to which statement that stands out to as an "insult" " Well why don't you list some of them? Automation already exists that bots currently beat a real player to a trade since bots have data fetched faster than some of the trade site's API. Not to mention AH already works in multiple games across multiple genres? " You honestly think that majority of the player base haven't had an issue with trading? Not a single one? Surely most of the players got used to it hence they would have no trouble trading on a daily basis. But don't make this game all about YOU. " I'm sorry? But need not to remind you that everybody have the choice to do what they want with the time they spend " And why do you think the problem originates from? You haven't given me a single valid argument yet you're blabbering on about minorites and majorites like what. |

" Calling people that are disagreeing with you "manipulative" may be taken as an insult. Taking for granted that people disagreeing with you are using the current system in a "shady" way, is insulting to me. Using terms like "99%" and "1%" is insulting to anyone with a brain. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" Hence the topic of this post, addressing the advocacy of anti-AH " Oh don't you worry, "shady" is just the surface. But I could've worded it in generality without too much of the "shady" ways that I've listed. Point still stands, if you get offended by that... I rest my case. " "99% of positive constructive ideas were already provided by the community, but to be held back by the 1% negatives." People that cannot comprehend rhetoric is insulting to anyone with a brain |

Not worth bothering with.

You seem to have missed the most important part of the auction house discussion, and I WILL quote D3 for this example because it's where the problem was at it's most apparent.
If we get an auction house in it's full fledged form, then asset liquidity multiplies tenfold. Especially with the current system where small trades have to be weighed against time loss while mapping / doing league content etc, everything will slump extremely quickly. This either means GGG has to obfuscate the auction house process (And lets be real, that is essentially the situation that we are already in so they wont spend development time making something which means we move sideways not forwards.) OR they have to decrease drop rate of items to compensate for the increased ease of trading. It's important to use this example because GGG themselves have said that they would rather have a more difficult trade system but with better drops to compensate the loss of market liquidity (Vice versa implying that a better trade trade system would result in them decreasing droprates.) This is the EXACT situation that D3 was in with it's auction house back in classic, and the removal of the auction house along with the introduction of console droprates is universally heralded as the move by blizzard which saved the game. Don't get me wrong, the current system could certainly use some more QoL, and it does get some pretty sweet changes (Like a couple leagues back where they removed cross league players from search results, essentially making trading in standard bearable again for the first time in years). If I would ask GGG for anything trade related right now, it would be improvements to their API and polishing of the current system, not a total overhaul. Just my 2 cents. Souls along a conduit of blood, from one vessel to the next.

They could just use an automatic buy/sell, just leave everything as it is, but cut the trade face-to-face crap. Just use a send msg saying i want to buy... and the other guy just acept or not, and it's done. The problem is just to trade you have to stop everything you are doing. And how many people are willing to stop actually playing for 1 alq or 1c?? It doesn't need to be an ACTUALLY AH, but cut the face to face crap. Never the less, you have leagues to test it, if it sucks just don't add it to the core game....

" The problem with it wouldn't show up in leagues as quickly as it would in standard. A "fresh economy" isn't as saturated with items. |

" This. Nothing new in this thread other than trying to obfuscate previous discussions (poorly summarized counterarguments, etc.) and attempting to gain a shallow victory through spamming the forums. Somewhat like the toddler throwing a tantrum screaming "because I want it" over and over again. Thanks for all the fish!

" Point still stands? Offended isn't the right word. But when you go into a debate with the attitude of "everyone disagreeing with me, does so because they exploit the current system" you generalize everyone disagreeing with you, and comparing me to scum. I don't like being compared to scum. Please don't. There are A LOT of reasons why an automated auction house can have bad impact on several aspects of the game. Just because you happen to disagree with these reasons or are unable to understand them, doesn't mean they don't exist. " "Positive" and "negative" is - in this case - subjective. You can se a positive, constructive feedback, and I can see a very bad idea. A LOT of these so-called "constructive positive feedbacks" are based on ignorance and not understanding GGG's views or plans. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
