Tell us more about this special loot seed you appear to have? Maybe the games super easy for you because you hit the lottery (which almost every system in this game can be described as fairly) regularly while they (and I) hit the lottery almost never?

I know its hard for the blessed 1% to understand, but some people playing this game have REALLY SHIT RNG.

i rolled my own helms/boots/gloves with fossils in delve and betrayal. and i crafted a slew more to sell. i have a good idea of the odds, especially with some combinations.

if you seriously believe this crap, you were either too scared to roll any or you couldn't figure out what to do with them (and... it really wasn't hard)

btw, you don't even seem to understand rng. the best way to mitigate rng is with increased sample sizes. "a ton" of fossils would do this...

Agreed. This thread is the gift that keeps on giving... the only way it could be better would be if we could combine it with the one where a lvl 87 dude was trying to map with uncapped resists and insisting it was bad game design getting him killed.

I must say that people who claim there is or isn't a power creep are forcefully ignoring the RNG involved and how RNG impact the value of everything (In a bad way)

I came back playing after 3.0 got released. In total (Before synthesis) i managed to get 1 Ex and maybe around 30 Chaos, not counting Unique that were over 10 chaos that never sold for some reason.

Now in synthesis I manage to get 2 Ex, 3 items that I can sold for over 30 chaos, I found 2 tabula which one of them I corrupted for a 46% inc damage.

And that is the problem. Lets say you need a 6-link, you can't sacrifice your body because you'll be too squishy. What are you gonna do? Spend at least 6 Chaos Cheap right, indeed it is, but that is regardless of the wpn so if you need a specific wpn, it can go very high, very fast. But what if you want only 1 item with a build-enable effect. Like Fenumus weave? you just need the Aspect of spider and the increase ailement? 20 chaos for the lowest amount just because of the rarity of the item and the ES meta.

So the real problem is not the Power Creep, but the RGN involved for doing all content, not really succed in it, but simply trying it.
As a whole (gamers everywhere) we disagree about paying to get content, why are most of you ok for content to be locked behind a RNG/Grinding wall?

You have a weak version and a Uber Version, Elder? Same thing
Why don't we have the same for all End-game boss? White map with White shaper/elder easy for all and when you have all white maps completed there is a Zana quest to go to Yellow maps and so on.

Wouldn't having that make everyone happy? You could give a Chaos orb drop every White shaper/elder kill or a radom unique from a specific list. It wouldn't break the economy and make it less tedious to Farm/Grind. People with less time could still get something and those 1% players that creates meta/race through content wouldn't see any change in there way of playing.

i think the game was in a better state when 6Ls were something to aspire toward and get your build into overdrive.

You are aware that it requires 200-299 depth delve and 66 chaos worth of Fusing to get one w/o rng involved? 6 SOCKETS are easy to find, but 6 link is still very hard and out of reach to many.

The suggestion is a simple way for people to get some constant source of Chaos w/o, again, RNG involved. Doing recipes would still be more efficient, but having both would just be better for every one.

Also I'm slightly confused. Are you agreeing about the power creep issue or you are trying to justify the why the game its in a good state right now?

Considering that I've gotten the boots on my last 4 shaper kills, I'm apparently only guaranteed a chaos for the full version. But the fact that someone would even suggest this shows that they've never been anywhere near endgame... do you even know how to get to the Shaper's Realm? Because the fact that you aimed these words at other people suggests you don't, or you'd realize how absolutely ridiculous the idea of a lvl 72 Shaper guaranteed to drop no more than a couple chaos is.
