Most people in this thread seem to be agreeing with what I have said. On the first few pages everyone was calling me a troll because I said he was probably using non melee skill. Everyone laughed because he was using cleave.

Now everyone seems to agree that cleave actually isnt a melee skill. We also found out that the guy was using alt-f4 (and also leap slam) during his gameplay, and lots of people here think that is lame and not amazing.

Pointing these obvious flaws out does not make someone a troll, no matter how many people disagree.

LoL, I was going to add this to my original post about this: "And now we just wait for the first person to point out that alt-f4 is OS functionality and not game functionality".

But then I thought, why waste the time typing that out because no one would be dumb enough to not realize that alt-f4 creates an effect in the game and can be countered.

That's not what makes you a troll.

You are a troll because you directly avoid facing the actual subject of a conversation. Such as with Alt-F4, you ignored the obvious fact that we were talking about it's functionality in relation to PoE and stated the obvious yet idiotic statement I quoted that had absolutely no relevance to what was being talked about.

Similar, perhaps the same, as the Strawman fallacy.

Whether people agree or not with what you say is irrelevant to whether you are a troll or not.

And this kind of behavior is what derails threads. Such as is the case now.

Edit: My advice, talk about what is actually being talked about rather than very obviously being a troll.

I think we should drop the Alt-F4 stuff, it's not relevant to whether melee is good or not. People who play hardcore seriously do that with every build, melee or ranged. If you want to argue it make another thread.

People do both. They play the stream on a second monitor while playing themselves. And since it's the "no-life nerds" who stream, they usually have information about the best builds and assorted tips and tricks to get through hardcore that other people watch the streams for.
