Uh... yes? Companies aren't our friends per se. It also doesn't seem to be about short-term profitability, considering how long the boxes have been around and how well GGG is doing.

Nobody needs any of the things inside those boxes to play the game.
It is not,if that is the case,why base Boxes on "RnG" Wny not sell the cosmetics itself!It will than NOT be considered Gambling because i BUY what i see and want!I do NOT gamble on it!

Yes it is, whatever you think, it's why it's been like this for years.
I like getting once in a while a free box with a random rewards in it rather than a fixed meh Mtx that I will probably never use or even nothing at all, which would likely be what it'd be if not for the random boxes.
If you don't understand why, I invite you to think about it, it's obvious enough.
If you can't handle yourself about something this trivial, either :
- ask your parents to help you if you are not a responsible person.
- send an e-mail to GGG to make your account unable to buy those boxes.
Wanting to change a system that is working and is good for thousands of players just because you have a personal problem with it is egotistical if anything.

ya its not like GGG exacly says that the mtx will be up in the store later,o wait they are doing that!
its important to help ppl with serious problems (like gambling addiction),but it would be tatly wrong to build the whole world around them.
gambling addiction is bad yes,but it is a very "rare" problem compared to ppl that dont have it.
btw most addictions are a "side effect" of other problems and than become a real problem themself.
so just "removing" the side effect doesnt solve anything.
another thing is,not allowing gambling would make the problem a lot worse,not only because ppl would just do something else that is bad form them instead or would gamble illegally.
gambling without any kind of control by law would creat an even much bigger problem for those ppl.

Hello internet!
Loot boxes have no place in a game, when they do not drop as random loot.
If those boxes would contain a set amount of items you will always get, it would be a package.
Randomness and real money chained together are a very troubling problem, which only can be understood to the fullest, if you really do your research on human phsychology.
I fully support any thread helping to remove those things from the face of the earth.
The following arguments hold no value in this discussion:
- "You do not need to buy them"
- "You get no advantage in game"
- "You have a problem, cause i don't have one"
- "They are needed to fund the game"
- (possibly many more)
Those issues fail to address the core problem, which is a random chance to get more out of your $'s worth. This is gambling.
If we could earn coins in game and buy loot boxes with those coins, but would not have any other way (no real $), that would be fine.
If you would offer those boxes without random items at a set price, it would be fine.
End (the current) loot boxes (- trend).

sry but you believing that those arguments have no vaule is simply your opinion
beeing against "gambling" is fine however you only state your opinion without any arguments.
behaving like that does only one thing,it disqualifies you for this discussion.
countering an argument with reason is the way to win and not saying "your areguments are invalid".
