Hang on "Exit to Character Selection"

Well damn, same here. Please fix.

game will hang on exit to character selection

it does not hang if i select go to log in screen

if the game hangs, it will take a few seconds to log back in after reloading the game as it tries to disconnect me.

Was happening a few days ago, was fine all day yesterday and up to this evening, now doing it every time i try to swap.

Same issues. Exit to character selection screen freezes quite often. Exit to Login seem more stable however.

GUYS THERE IS AN EASIER WAY!!

Ok so there have been a lot of posts about this problem. Not sure why it isnt fixed yet. BUUUT there is a temporary fix without all of the above crap.

Just press "Esc", then click "exit to log in screen". That will work every single time without fail.
This bug is related to the character screen button for some reason. So just go to login screen.

This problem still has not been fixed. Well not exactly. I was one of the first to have this problem as I thought it was me at first on the 17th November as there were no posts about it. For now I have been "exiting to log in screen". That has not failed me at all.
Since this new patch you have done it will work about 50% of the time. After about 5-6 uses of the button it will lag out and freeze you again. I have tried logging out fully and reloading the game but this still needs to be looked at a little more.

The team have done a good job identifying the issue as I see something has improved with the button to "exit to character screen", but it is not fully fixed. Please bring the issue up again with the team to have another look. Thank you.



Also maybe as the issue is still going on could you maybe setup an announcement for people to use the "exit to log in screen" button for now until the issue is resolved. Otherwise you will keep getting more posts about it.

This patch seems to have created an even worse bug, where exiting to character selection sometimes forces you onto someone else's account.

Same driving me nutz plz fix its a bad bug....its a naughty bug....plz destroy
