Exiting to login screen fixed for me

Why is no one talking about this?
Why is it not a known issue? Are any of the Exit options reliable right now? What is now the proper way to exit the game immediately? I lost a HC character because I did not know "ESC + Exit to Character Selection" was not reliable; I knew that the screen would freeze after hitting the exit button but not that my character was actually still in game, until I watched the character RIP while waiting for the character selection screen. TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.

i went into the core map 3 times and i tthrew me out to the log in screen.
and it used all 3 portals |

When i use /exit command or when i manually use Exit to Character Selection
i can do 1 click to move my char. Then the char moves but the screen does not move with the char. Then the char gets stucked. I tried it in the city. There i see even after my char freezes other players running around. Would be cool if this could get fixed ;) |

yup that start today, but change from frankfurt to amsterdam and problem is gone :)

Seems it is related to latest patch introducing with around 1GB ”Preparation for the Korean gateway which will start its beta tomorrow.” ;)

Same for me, everytime I want to change for another character, everything's frozen and I have to quit the game, wait for a couple of minutes because "disconnected from server" then reconnect...

no problems on Amsterdamn, London and Milan gateways.
So try using a other gateway. |
