Hang on "Exit to Character Selection"

Same here.

Things like the arctic armor animation, water, and the way point still animate, but I lose character control and there's no way out except exiting the game (I can still bring up the ESC menu).

Steam client, Windows 10 (v10.0.17134 Build 17134).

The same is happening for me: I click on "Exit to character selection" and nothing happens and I lose control of my character.

The ESC-menu works but if I click on "Options" only the frame is drawn but no contents whatsoever.

Additionally when I close the game completely and try to login directly after that, the game tells me I'm logging in from a different location although I'm sitting right in front of the same computer which hasn't moved either.

Unfortunately I don't remember when this occurred for the first time but I guess it was sometime in the last week of November.

Edit: Almost forgot: The error doesn't occur every time I use the "Exit to character selection" option. Sometimes it works just fine.

Experiencing the same issue. Exit to login works, as does Exit Path of Exile. Need character selection working for league launch.

this issue started today for me

same here i havent played in a couple weeks but since its the new league i was practicing my act 1 (classic) and whenever i exit to char screen it freezes and i have to exit the game to then RE-open it and then i can enter my char screen

might as well throw my hat into the ring. this issue just started happening to me as well. Ive been doing practice levelling runs for the past week with no issues. Get home from work tonight and the game just hangs about 75% of the time when I try to exit to character selection.

I am also hanging on "Exit to Character Selection". I need to close Path of Exile and reopen it to get to character selection.

Every time I try to login I get an error when I try to click the Log In button, it slows at Authenticating user,then I get "Login Error: The Operation Timed Out".

I've tried entering my password and I get in one time, but after closing it, it stops again and freezes up for 10+ tries.

Same problem here, started today.
