Same here. Game doesn't really fully freeze, though. While character cannot move, the main menu is still accessible, and "Exit PoE" works.

I am experiencing this exact same problem repeatedly. Exiting and reloading the client works, but this kills extra time, especially since it sometimes takes multiple seconds to authenticate once you try to log back in to the account.

after exit and restart i have a long wait at authentication. If i exit and reload for a 2nd time, game starts no problem

I thought it was VPN related as I recently enabled the DNS leak prevention on PIA when it runs, but I have the issue with our without the VPN enabled.

Same issue here. Happens most of the time on logging out to character. At times it doesnt happen when I have done something recently such as killing a monster or using a skill however it can still happen after doing those things. Also at times it doesnt happen when ive done nothing. Seems very random but is happening most of the time regardless of what I do.

Trying to farm Oni-Goroshi and this is making it extremely painful.

Same thing has been happening to me for the past 2-3 days. I would like to say that about 7/8 times it happens, but every once in a while it works just fine. It freezes up the game ever so slightly but there is still a small amount of movement.

Same here, animations still work and can still use screens. Might be a client-side bug that needs to be addressed.

Reporting the same issue is persisting,force closing the client fixes it for a bit but not for long.
