Group SSF

This was all hashed out years ago. We had a good laugh at the expense of the people begging for better drops. Nothing new is being brought to the table. It's not going to change.
so i get what i wished for, but have to pay.
i think i should be happy,
just need 100 people so its not too expensiv :D

There is literally no downside of creating additional game mode separated from all special snowflakes who find trading 24h/7/365 reason to live.
You like trading? That's cool but i would actually prefer to spend my limited time playing the game not some poor mix of tetris and economic simulation. You know, some people have to do things outside of playing games non stop.


As always, there is a limit. If SSF becomes more rewarding, to a majority, than the normal leagues people will migrate to it and a serious loss of community results. There has to be a balance there.

The biggest issue is that SSF isn't rewarding enough in terms of item drops and crafting and so not a lot enter that league. Then GGG can justify not improving it. GGG understandably doesn't want people more efficiently grinding gear in SSF and then swapping to non SSF to sell it.

My solution is make SSF non transferable and thus only those that really want that experience will participate and you can boost the drops and increase crafting. But people will whine that the second they get a mirror valued item in SSF they'll never do SSF again. And to them I say who cares - clearly SSF wasn't meant for you. But it will be better if there was actual crafting or vendor currency value in SSF for godly items.

I cant believe ppl complain abt drops still. It literally rains compared to past - plus you got sick crafting options like essences and fossils - plus u got master to improve any so-so drops. You should be able to build anything in this game nowadays.

Most things have cards you can farm but ones that don't u can chance - I needed an implusa for BV and started chancing sadists garbs. Got every unique sadist garb gives.

They shouldnt even have trade. And fuck smart drops...we already have smart drops as I stated... farm cards u need or chance normals you need. Be smart.

Look at shavs, one of most valued items in the old days, took a plummit after the unique IIQ buff years ago.

The QQ was real in the scammer community. GJ there GGG

the shavs (and others) were not expensive because rarity, but because scammers and flippers playing 20h/day rekt'd entire trade.

All we need now is a solid anti botter system, a full wipe of standard league and a fresh start with poe trade bans on price fixing.

that's all well and good if you find the exact build defining item you want to. Not everyone wants to just make new builds based on what they actually find
I didnt find it I chanced it. I knew what I want to play (BV) and worked towards it chancing every sadist garb like 350 of them. Today, you can pick your build first not based on what you find.

350 doesn't sound typical to get what you really want. I'd need to see a LOT more data on the actual odds before considering that viable. And it will depend on how many other uniques can also be chanced by that source item right?

I mean SSF isn't for me as I don't mind trading unless it's for maps.
They just announced group ssf aka "private leagues". I did not see that coming, but i'm looking forward to see some streamers play crazy hard stuff :p
Also looking forward to the new ice skill changes, but just a little more wait.
