Group SSF

How would you Image this?

like D3 with caracterbound Drops or more like a restriction on your Guild for grouping and trades?

at the moment i read the line in the trollpost of ggg i could only think About the second. the first would now a Dream turning Nightmare :'(

Absolutely not. Grouping and trades would defeat the purpose of the difficulty of this league mode.

for me the restriction on a small bunch of Players would be a nice middelway between ssf and open trade meta. i do not Image that all ssf Players can Group up, but that i can restrict my league on a dozen of Players. (or whatever nummber makes sense here.)

That would just needlessly complicate matters. If group SSF were to be a thing, it would be just like SSF is today but with other players and no trade, no dropping items and dedicated loot.

hmm, the Guild System could be the base for it.
a restriction on trades and grouping on your Guildmember would be perf for me.

My first thought is that everyone gets their own drops that no one else can see. there would be no trades.

But yes a D3 style system would sort of fit I guess.

But since guild members can come and go, it would completely eradicate the entire idea that SSF is; to have found your own gear.

Diablo 3 have free Legendary item trade though, you just need to be in the group where the item dropped and you're free to trade it for two hours. Yellow, blue and white items are unrestricted. Blizzard's idea of self-found makes a mockery of the name.

you are Right, the ssf tag would not fit anymore.
i hope for a playstyle like i wrote down for a longer time and got triggered by the line on the whitebord, but for the case it means anything and isnt a jokeline, the comming is unlikly to fit into my hopes :\

well the only reason i don't play SSF is leveling masters.
to be more precise, zana.
for me it takes around 2 months to get her to 8 without rotations.

other than that how would a ssf group play work?
giving all the party bonuses would not be ssf anymore, even if the drops are just for you.

i always saw ssf as a mode where you could compare to other ppl with exactly the same prerequisites. having group play would null and void this.
also because of sharing auras and buffs.

if they'd do something like this they could as well delete the SSF tag/league.
