Chris Wilson has already chosen one of those.

So who offered to buy them out and for how much?
Did you know level 91 is the halfway point to level 100? This means that a softcore character dying ONCE at level 85+ can lose many days of progress.
GGG will worth a lot more in the future.

They will not sell it so soon.

They are smart.

I can see activision buying out GGG.

So is PoE2 coming out this christmas?
If things stay they way they are, Chris will be a millionaire soon, without having to sell GGG.
Path of Exile is awesome.
Why bow to someone when you can be your own boss and still make millions?
I wouldn't sell it.

Yeah they went through all this work and is now independent and successful. They will never sell their company to anyone. This is a game made by gamers for gamers and that will never get compromised.
Why do people say that this is a niche game that only appeals to certain people?

What about this game is niche?

I would be willing to bet larger companies have been interested in buying GGG for quite some time now.

And I would also bet if the offer were high enough, GGG would take it.

And to complete the hatrick, I would bet the offer will never be high enough.

I'm going to have to agree with Charan here. GGG said in the very beginning that the whole point of making this game was that they were basically sick and tired of big corporations taking what could have been a great game and turning it into a money making piece of shit and wanted to make a hard-core, old-school ARPG that we all loved playing way back when... Where a game was a play you go and play to have fun and not continuously pump RL money into a RMAH...

Granted there are some issues - so what, it's still in a Beta phase. BUT the most important thing, for which I have a high amount of respect for GGG - which doesn't happen very often for a gaming company these days, is the fact that they stuck to their guns and remained true to their original ideals of providing a great old-school ARPG without the corporate bullshit.
The Pope quit, a meteor fell on Russia, an
asteroid came close to the earth, there's snow
in Arizona, star wars and star trek have the
same director! Who the hell is playing jumanji?

I think it was EA/Origin.
Anyone know thinks that the right amount of money wouldn't sway thse people, who you DONT EVEN KNOW, to sell their company is being extremely naive. Money runs this world, and thats the sad truth.
its prob EA *( blizz ) thats interested in ggg ( to fix a .... game they releases :
