dunno tbh, I think I had 1 exalt to my name on standard at the start of harbinger and have managed to make and then spend about 500 exalts in that time on standard league. Today so far I seem to have accumulated 4 exalts and about 200 chaos from trade that I didnt have this morning when I woke up.

There does seem to be a quite dry patch each day thats oddly around the time youd expect peak traffic. I tend to put this down to the spread of traders, I feel like I make the most money off peak, presumably because theres less people on so Im more likely to be the guy whos online, maybe the dozens of people with lowball price tags that would soak up my customers are offline so ppl who want an item right now are stuck with me? There seems to be a particularly good period around 6-9 am gmt where I get bombarded for high price, potentially overpriced items.

This grazes another problem I have... People who put up lowball prices on poetrade, and just afk/ignore forever. Then by the time a buyer sees my pricing, they might say, "well I don't wanna pay this when there's cheaper ones up. I'll just wait for this guy to not be afk." (Which - spoiler - they will always be afk/ignoring.)

It's just yet another problem that adds up to trading, at the very least, being dead.

An auction house sure would be great... You put up a lowball price, it gets bought whether you're there or not. It would FORCIBLY make every item in the game normalize in price. But I guess this is for another topic...
With Patch 3.0, GGG blatantly sabotaged all existing Standard characters that had completed Merciless and were engaged in mapping. Each Standard character was stripped of all skill point quest rewards earned previously in Cruel and Merciless difficulties. They were then arbitrarily granted only those waypoints and quest rewards in Acts 5-10 necessary to complete the game and arrive in Oriath fait accompli for the Epilog.

While this half-assed hack supposedly enabled Standard characters to continue mapping, it left them missing 8-10 skill points from all so-called "optional" quests in Acts 5-10. To recover these points, you have to escort each Standard character through random scavenger hunts, tediously mowing down the hapless mobs who pose no challenge at all to your grossly over-leveled character. This gratuitous drudgery is made even more annoying by GGG's passive agressive refusal to give you many of the waypoints needed to back-fill these anti-climactic quests.

GGG thus managed to simultaneously ruin the playability of the new Acts while forcing you to trudge through them anyway with each Standard character you decide to salvage. This is by far the most disrespectful travesty GGG has yet delivered to veteran Standard players.
I've spend about 100 ex (most money I've ever had, but well, legacy was long league) on MF srs character. I still had great deals with items, because otherwise I'd just spend 150 or more ex on the same items. In the effect, my guy had 12.5k es on pimped out boss killing setup (O MF) and about 10k es on MF setup (so bisco, sadima, goldwyrm - all terrible for survival). Logging on after 3.0, my mfer has suddenly like 7k es. Which is way too little to level up, ever. I felt like all my hard work on GENERAL items (not some highly specialized items that are trash when the build is nerfed, like rings) vanished overnight. I barely play since.
When they do something to ES that my mfer will be able to survive more than 10 T12 in a row, then we can talk about playing more and spending money on the game.
Why bother finding a Mirror of Kalandra if it can be [Removed by Support]
Killing the Elder or Shaper while following someone's build is like finding a street using google maps - such an achievement!
The league is bad

The servers are bad

Trade is bad

The devs are atrocious

Currently being stalked around these forums by some clowns who caught feelings over being called out at being grossly inept at their job.
Game is fine.. sure trade slows down the longer the league goes on, nothing unique to this league.

So harbringer isnt that exciting, but we got a lot of new mob types for example in maps. That's worth some to make the league more interesting. I'm still playing and having fun this league.

Maybe you don't move that many items at the moment but the currency trading will keep you going for whatever you need for mapping. And the really good items still sell.
Far from it.

League's pretty meh until the beginning of December, though.
It has been dead since 2014.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
Come play MU Legend On November 6th guys!

You're playing in Standard, which means you've probably amassed 1,000s of hours in the game...and you're crying about 30 mins (if that)?
Still in the alpha stage, but at least build diversity isn't an issue: https://wolcengame.com/home/
I'm still playing along with many many others, if you're bored play something else until you feel the desire to pick it up again. No one is forcing anyone to play POE, if the next expansion/league tickles your fancy, play it again if you want to.
