Donald Trump and US politics

Lol Trump uses more drone strikes than Obama for which Obama was criticized for. This presidency is the dumbest in US history. laughing stock of the world. And the new travel ban already fails in court.

Unshown is how many people would lose healthcare due to cost within the next decade (and be paying an ever increasing fine for failure to purchase). For people facing 30%+ premium raises this year alone, the time of getting priced out is pretty fucking nigh.

I'd be curious if this was in the CBO report. I can't find it. I kinda doubt that the number of people priced out by Obamacare is anywhere near 24 million, though.

Holy shit this article:

Not only do they ignore the fact that he's obligated to take the salary, they also go full "wtf i hate charity now". Very fake news.

Question. Do you actually take Trump at his word when says he's gonna donate the money?

...Why?

Of course he will, it's a good opportunity to distinguish himself as a generous god. Why do you think he wants the media to decide where the money goes? He's planning on milking this cow for publicity (which would be a bad move imo).
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

The media hardly care Whether it is true or not. What is important is Donald Trump continue to entertain. Donald Trump is like the media's golden goose.

Ah, the CBO report is in on the American Health Care Act. The result: 24 million people are projected to lose their healthcare in the next 10 years because of this bill. Deficits go down and the markets become more stable, though, so I guess that's something.

That said, Paul Ryan thinks the big takeaway from the CBO's report is this:

"
#Obamacare is collapsing. Our plan:
✅ Lowers premiums by 10%
✅ Reduces deficit by $337 bil
✅ Cuts taxes $880 bil

Personally I'd consider those somewhat secondary to the finding that 24 million people are projected to lose their health care. I'd probably also point out that those tax cuts are almost exclusively for the rich. But then again, I'm not an invertebrate.

I wonder how many of that 24 million currently have health insurance they can't use due to high deductibles they can't afford. In their case, dropping off insurance would actually be a benefit: no change in services provided, less premium paid.

Ryancare is still shit, but I do wonder.

I can't say for sure, but a good 10 million of those are people being kicked off of medicaid, and 10 million is still a very large number of people losing health care.
