Fox is like a dysfunctional sitcom family. Conservatives follow them heavily because they are the only US news network that isn't heavily skewed to the left. They are skewed to the right, they are often self contradictory, and they occasionally jump the gun in getting information out without vetting it properly. The do mimic the established GOP position in many cases, although they sometimes deviate and allow some independent thought.

Their ratings and viewership is higher than the others because their competitors all present the same leftist viewpoint. It's like being the only cell phone company when everyone else is offering land line service.

Fox is by no means faultless. They do have occasional moments of clarity and are less dishonest than the others. Yes, they will still try to shade the news, and they will cover things that they know will rile up conservative viewers, but their reporting on that is still not as biased as the left's.

A previous president (Nixon) was forced to resign over something like this (Watergate). The entire scandal of "Russians" has to do with alleged rigging of elections. That a sitting president and possibly intelligence agencies would illegally intercept his communications is a sign of how little respect they have for the law and for privacy.

Had the media moved on, instead of trying to harp again and again at potential ways they thought the campaign was rigged, Trump would have moved on. He isn't going to give them any ground at all.

It is part of how he won the presidency, and until the public wakes up from MSM hypnosis, it is the only way the media can be treated without enabling their false narrative. I agree that it doesn't appear presidential at all, but when the building is on fire, you don't put on a three piece suit and tie to go fight that fire.
