Don't get me wrong, an amulet like yours is a good alternative for beginner equipment, but... nope. Deadmaux' amulet is just filthy. Disgusting. I have spent more than 5 min to calculate things. You can buy better rare than mine that is still cheaper than Astra and have better DPS than Astra. Period. But now I can see that those kind of rare amu started to disappear from poe.trade lol. You can mix that but it wont do any major difference. I didnt included any other flat elemental dmg from the amulet or the fact that you can find one with accuracy or higher int and dex. The downsides as I wrote before are only in terms of accuracy and es but only slightly. But not in overall DPS that can easilly go higher. And rare can have other usefull stats like resistances or mf in my example. At a lower price (currently). I think thats enough said regarding this topic. Hi-- just respecced last night and am having fun. But I seem to be taking large chunks of damage (gained back instantly).. is that normal or is there some way to mitigate this more? Taking big hits as ES character with almost none mitigation is quite "normall". The "key" here is to leech back all of it in-between hits. Currently this (large ES pool with high leech) is the most common defence technique in PoE. Which is sad but true. Sorry, made the profile public... thought it was already set to open I have a CI pizza and the damage taken is just significantly different. I guess I can adjust the tree a bit and forgo the increase lightning damage to get more ES nodes. Should i be stressing more evasion rating? Sitting at 10.2k ES and 35k Tool Tip in hideout. Just trying to work up the courage to do a chayula breach run, not sure the damage is there to keep up.
