[2.4] Build help thread! Making builds for everyone!

What you need looked at/optimised:
I'd like to know some quick/easy way to increase survivability without losing too much DPS.
I did contemplate an Aegis build (I already have an aegis and the anvil), but I haven't really given it a proper try due to lack of regret orbs. I also suspect I will miss the DPS as well.

Post gear (If you want) here:


With Inc AOE I reach something about 100k DPS with frenzy charges. Naturally a lot higher with conc. effect.
For defence:
I've got 17706 Armour (64% phys reduction), 3 charges on top of that.
Perma fortify
Conqueror (6% reduced damage taken after taunt, if this even works on unique bosses, not sure?)
I also like the look and feel of reave.

So here's the thing...i plan on doing the following:

Weapon: Varunastra and Last Resort - Low Life
Skill: Something Poison and Vulnerabilty
Dmg-Type: Phys/chaos if i get that Poison to work
Level: As high as possible. If all goes well to run T-15. Kill a Boss or two.
Hardcore or Softcore: Softcore
Class: Ascendant - Okkultist/Berserker

I'd like to start as soon as possible and the Varu will probably not be hard to get, but i am not sure if Low Life is something you should start without Shav's. Here's the deal. Never before have i done a LowLife or for that matter ES Build. So i also don't know how high i should skill dat juicy ES in the Tree.

Other Items i'd like to use if i get enough currency to pay for it is Legacy Void Heart.


I'm so very unsure about my main Skill and/or how to apply poison with the most effiency. Is this even a good idea to run with poison/chaos?
I also read that the AoW are partially poiosn immune. Is that a problem?


I plan on using Energy from Within 3x
Blood Dinker, Melding, Cruel Preparations

Edit: Noticed why i used Varu in the first place. No Viper Strike!

Skill: No crit, no elemental. Physical or poison. I dislike delayed skills like dot's or explosive arrow.
What type of weapon will you want to use: As long as it is cheap/common. I usually prefer bows but anything goes.
What level are you planning to level this build to: 90-93
Hardcore or Softcore: hardcore
Ascendancy you wish to use: Doesn't matter
Class: no preference. Scion is sexiest but her ascendancy is so terrible compared to other classes.


Other notes:
- Must be ranged
- Should not RIP to reflect
- Must have lifeleech gem (or nodes) or high life regen or pathfinder/flask build.
- No totems/summoner other than decoy-totem
- Must be cheap/self-found. So no 6L or whatever.
- Must have decent map clear speed.
