[2.4] Build help thread! Making builds for everyone!

Hi again Slayer,

i made a new build and could use some feedback.
It's an Ancestral Warchief Facebreaker Crit Hierophant - crazy huh?

The thing i need help with is survivability - dmg is fine.
I think the Abyssus is causing me to take far too much dmg, but going non crit with semi-legacy BoR reduces the dmg by quite a lot (not ruling out this way totally though).
Obvious upgrade would be a 6L Lightning Coil (expensive), or a Tatste of Hate i guess.
To add to the problem i need to pick up a lot of resistance nodes on the tree since my rares aren't that good ;/

It might be best to go non-crit if you're struggling with survivability, and maybe change the chestplate out for a higher armour/res chest... other then that, as you said, damage is fine, so, it should be totally fine, if there is anything else you can think of, let me know, i can't see any other negative variables.

yeah, LC is pretty expensive, if i had the money, i would help fund it, but, i has no money.

Skill: I don't know yet. Maybe flameblast but it might be too clunky without prolif from elementalist.

I was hoping to play a summonner/spellcaster hybrid with The Scourge. I understand however that this kind of build might be simply too lackluster to clear end game content. If that's the case could you please at least direct me towards summoner build with more active playstyle than usual?

Build: Lighting focused elementalist.
Skill: Arc, but...

1. That's my issue, Arc it's great for trash and most of rares, I'd like something less all over the place and more strong in one place, instead, for bosses.

2. I have 15 spare regrets, and I want to use them to fix my tree a bit.

So far I'm glad(ish) about defense, I'd love to hit for more, tho. I mean, t11 maps with combineation of certain modes (enfeblee+light res+max life) starts to be struggle, if on top of that here happens to be sturdy rare, im screwed sometimes. Partuculary, if I try to corrupt essences.


So does rescpec even make much sense? I'm loosing these jewels in such scenario:
, plus damage, es and mana from passives.
And there's nothing rly fancy and unusal on my new tree, so I dunno if that's worth the effort. On the other hand, I need no "universal" damage nodes, since I picked skill etc. And these specialised passives are better appareantly, has bigger %increase and some additional features.

Just wanna say thank you for what you do, it's simply amazing, taking your time to help others is pretty rad. Now, I also want to apologize, because I've been trying to come up with a build, and I'm not 100% sure how to go about it, seeing as I'm kinda new to the game. So without further ado, here is the build idea called "IceColdAmerican".


Skill: Cold Snap + Trap Support (Cold Snap traps :D)
Crit, Elemental, or Phys: Gonna be a crit build for all the dank freezes.
What type of weapon will you want to use?

What level are you planning to level this build to?
Probably around 70-80ish
Hardcore or Softcore?

Ascendancy you wish to use: Saboteur :)

Im playing witch freezing pulse build,currently respeced old character(which was also FP)but i added EB as I wanted to run more auras but then again Im not sure is it worth it yet.Was planning to run Haste,Herald of Ice,and maybe thunder,what are your thoughts about it?
As of now im rly low on hp(2300) as i have crappy gear for the most part and Im having problems with sustaining casting spells,dont know what should i do,can u help in that regard?Currently running discipline,herald of ice and thunder,for deffensive i went tempest shield but I think I will swap it for something else.
I dont have a lot of currencies but what do u think I should replace in gear(aside from more HP on rings,amulets etc)

Build: varunastra reave raider
Skill: phys crit reave
Weapon: varunastra + Lioneye's Remorse
Lvl: 88-92 depending on results after post 80
Softcore
Can't really decide on class though. Got some raider mock-up, but I'm not sure how well will hybrid mitigations scale into late game (got other builds to take care of guardians, just want enjoyable fast map clearing experience all the way up to T15) (evasion + block + armor + 200%+ hp with belly of the beast). The basic idea is to just grab juiciest crit nodes + leech from claws + maximum defense possible on right side of the tree.

So, i think i should explain why i havent replied to many of you

Basically, if you're new to this thread, i sort of take a break from PoE for a long period of time towards the end of the league...

so, with that said, the reason why i havent replied to any of you, isnt because i don't want to do this anymore, or that ive lost motivation, its primarily because im taking a break from PoE, because.. well, im seriously burnt the fuck out

heres a little story, a very little story >_>

I got bored 2 nights ago, i jumped on PoE to play around with my MF ranger, did 2 maps, and i felt like i did 2000 maps instead, because i just got really drained...
