SliverTongue Unique Is Poorly Made, Heres Why
I'm thinking of something like Tornado-Fork-LMP-Poison-Phyis Projectile-with Either Cull or Rapid Decay for 6th gem. Deadeye with +1 Chain
Look at it from Tornado Shot (the best shot for this bow) Initial TS has 100% pierce chance, so your applying Bleed right away, and Bleed doesn't stack, so other Bleeds are kinda Meh. After TOrnado explodes into it's second form. The Projectiles Fork, chain and pierce. LMP and Fork, your losing only 26% damage, assuming your not using Quality Fork. Could even skip LMP with a +1 Arrow Drillneck and +1 projectile from uber Deadeye ascendency. SO a 20 QL Fork, your losing 1% of damage Sadly, we get no Phys damage "auras" Ash and Hatred are OK, but Poison and Bleed only Stack off so you'll lose some effectiveness. Vuln would be your go to Curse. |

I'd probably go puncture with this bow for the bleed and then abuse the chain/fork mechanics. Since it is such a high crit base it would be interesting to see some CoC (if it's not rip) interactions with this.
I'm sure people will be coming up with extremely creative ways to use this bow. With ascendancy everyone is pretty powerful anyway... If we're going to one shot...why not do it creatively? :D I'm not a big bow fan (bought a reach just to have one in standard if I ever want to test something) so I don't even think i'll be going for this thing. I think it's cool though. |

Every time I try to make a bleed build, it just seems like a waste. Bleed just seems like such a stupid mechanic to put focus on when you can kill everything in seconds, if not 1 shot. Do you want to sit there and wait for them to move and to bleed out, or shoot just 1 more time to finish them off and go on your way?

"Why do you think a forked projectile cannot pierce? I think a projectile can chain, then fork, then pierce if I got the order of priority correct. Edit: Ok, I see. The always pierce after chain bypasses the fork. So you can chain and pierce or fork and pierce but not both. "No, you don't see. First, fork is higher priority than chain. Second, my point if that each ARROW only gets one bonus. Let's say you're using Fork and Chain. The first arrow gets 100% inc crit chance and forks, but doesn't cause bleed. Once this arrow hits, it spawns two arrows with no increased crit or bleed. When those two arrows hit, they create two more arrows, each of which always pierce and cause bleed, but have no increased crit chance. In other words, even when you appear to be using all three priorities of the bow, only one of those properties applies at a time. Which is what I mean when I say only one bonus at a time. The incentive to stack all three properties is an illusion because you do NOT get multiple simultaneous bonuses. Actually, When you use Fork, when the 2 new arrows are formed from Fork, they would have the +100% chance to crit. If they chain afterwards and Pierce, they would maintain their 100% crit chance.
Only the initial arrow would not have the 100% crit chance. |

Forked/chained arrows count as being 'the same' for the purposes of things like point blank, whether they can hit a monster again, Powerful Precision, etc...

The Bow will be VERY good at clearing trash with right setup and build (already seen theorycrafted plans) problem is it will be utter shit on bosses. And we never had problems with clearing trash, people were rather clearing 2-3 screens away with pierce...
So the only real purpose endgame weapon should have is a focus on bosses, this one doesnt represent that. " Just become an Assassin and you get all those nasty "more" modifiers because of bleed. Besides, chances are those bosses will create adds for you or have adds around in the begin. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.
