Sometimes it's worth to pick up every yellow item

Something like that, vendoring stuff unidentified is pretty much raping one of the most important founding pillars of the genre. Yeah, I know it's inefficient and the pillar is technically already raped but I don't really care, I want to find stuff and that's that.

And I did, the feeling is what counts and all this is usable enough.

fun>>efficiency.

Hear hear!

All this nonsense about XP per hour, speedruns, time wasted ID'ing rares, trading has to be fast and so on. I can understand it in a race or in the start of a league, but as a permanent play style? Beats me.

But then again, "fun" is subjective, and it seems a lot of people find it fun to relate everything they're doing in a video game to time and efficiency. I don't think I'll ever understand it. But that's on me.

In the time you spend doing all that, you could have run a map or Dried Lake or whatever and found a Chaos.

I can tell you that i make more than 2 chaos per map (if i count every alteration / fusing / chrome etc.). I then trade alterations for chaos.

Speedrunning maps makes sense if you want to level fast (in my opinion).

But give a fish a man, and you can feed it for a month.

I mean, we have a Xirgil's Crank thread for a reason here.

The thread title isn't about enjoyment of the game, it's about 'worth' and OP clearly speaks about getting gear. So, yes, it has to be expected we'll talk about income per hour and efficiency. Apart from that, of course everyone enjoys different things and is free and welcome to play as they see fit.

I also agree with Raics that not identifying almost anything being the most efficient way to play the game rapes one of the fundamentals of the ARPG genre, but, well - it is what it is.
You have to be realistic about these things.
