GGG is not against scam. In fact they just scammed you by preventing you from accessing your account.

I wouldn't say that. This scam comparing to the cross-league scam acts on the exact same premise. You can keep doing cross-league scam for a long time too, until people call you out then it probably wouldn't work anymore.

Day 5 update gents.

Woke up to an awesome mail from GGG.

My account is being unlocked under the proviso that i give my word i wont pull shit like this again.The amount of reports I generated for support whilst running the scheme were I quote "overwhelming" Hence the lock (not ban) whilst they investigated into them.

I totally respect GGGs decisions and rules and look forward to being back in wraeclast with all you exiles again.

As to where exactly this leaves us in terms of whats allowed and what isn't let me spell it out to you guys from personal experience.

Being a dick may or may not result in loosing access to your account - if you love POE best not try it ey.This doesn't seem very transparent to me but i'm happy to comply either way.

Thanks for all the adults in the room for having a decent conversation about this,thanks for all the whiteknight opinions for voicing the other side of the argument and thanks obviously to the GGG support team for coming to what i believe is a fair and just decision.


TLDR : Scamming people isn't worth the hassle of getting locked out for a week/risking loosing your account all together.Dont expect futher clarification from GGG regarding set rules as there are none.Case by case basis it would seem.

It's totally fine to scam all the suckers bads and noobs in PoE. This game is designed to go hand in hand with scams and dirty deeds. Remember, just don't too it too much. So scam a few of them losers today wait for a day and go get more them suckers, and you will be ok.

Actions and words. They say they take actions against scammers, yet we pretty much have proof in the pudding right here. Guy goes on reddit posts screenshots of himself scamming and a light slap on the wrist. I'm sure Kobe will be back next league too.

They want to look like they care about the community. Pretty sure all those reports go in a round filing cabinet.

Edit: Because I certainly wouldn't want it to look like I am accusing anyone of anything.
