And an incorrect opinion at that. Would be like saying taking 2 dollars out of a friend's wallet and robbing a bank are the same because I took x dollars that weren't mine.

Also, the "it's just a game guys who cares" act isn't fooling anyone. It's a stupid argument made by people who think they're too cool for school. You can say "this is just a game it's all pixels chill out nerds, doesn't mean anything" all you want but you're over here on the forums dying to figure out what's happening to your account. You care, it isn't just pixels to you, just stop it with that.

Furthermore, has it occurred to you yet that you might be wrong about how scamming like you did is simply wrong and you shouldn't do it? If 9/10 people are saying it's scummy and you shouldn't do it, maybe you should reevaluate your thinking?

If you really cared whether this was within rules or not, you would send an email to support asking them what was going on and that would be the end of it.

The fact he can't tell the difference between an occasional scam/oppurtunity presenting itself and scamming for 7 hours at a time, makes me happy he is banned.

Comparing cross league scams and the one you have been happily doing for 7 hours is like comparing soccer with table tennis. Both are sports and have balls so they must be the same!

You have been caught red handed, ruining the game of several players. Now you play the 'it isn't in the rules, so it must be okay'. Guess what? There's a line deep down in the EULA that allow GGG to close any account at will. And with no mandatory explanation.
