I am a scammer - Account locked?

I don't think I would be in minority that thought it was permissible though.

Cycling through twitch channels asking the streamers if they realized it was illegal to do so - none so far as of yet.

POE was always portrayed as a HC environment where your shit could get fucked up including scamming.

Again i'm not trying to diminish any responsibility for my actions - i'm quite fine with playing the douche for a day in a videogame - but the simple question as to if its allowed or not still hasn't been answered.

If i was in the wrong, I am happy to reroll as stated before - And finally everyone will know GGG's stance on the matter.

GGG will not force players to decide their stance. That doesn't mean they don't have ToS or support window. You didn't report yourself like you didn't ask the streamers if they do so. The game is still in players hands. I support current GGG's stance.
Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3

i don't wanny spend thousands of dollars on a game where all the support stuff is taken away on a wimp because i violated some rules which were nowhere stated.

Since u read Terms of use and knows GGG can lock any account they want because all accounts belong to GGG, i don't see why a line of a rule would change anything since u already put thousands dollars without even thinking about it i guess.

i gave them money because i trust them. there is a fine line between just stating they can play god and actually doing it.

Some people doesn't need a line somewhere to not act like douches u know. U don't act like a douche because its forbidden or because u don't like being a douche ?

so what is false acting?

1.) killing the progress of hc players by luring them into bandit fights and kill them?

2.) offering some service, getting paid in advance but a server crash interrupting the deal, the only method to get the username of the partner being a several hundred megabyte big logfile deep in the game's install folder which wont even open in notepad?

3.) accidentally mixing up trade accounts and buying stuff from traders by putting less currency in the trading tab than they expected? and being wrong about the price afterwards too?

4.) ripping off currency from unexperienced players by purchasing items under market value from them and selling it higher (also known as "item flipping")

i could go on for pages, so where is the point ggg rightfully bans players? all these actions above are interrupting the gameplay of others, ripping them of currency.

This is not proper format to be used in ToS. If you want those to be answered, we need the sub format known as support and we have them already.

still not answered my question on where to draw the line between allowed interruption of other players game play and the ones which gets your account banned.

??
you mean support answered this? where?

anyway, my last words on this matter:

account bans are useless because:

1.) malicious players only playing temp leagues will create new accounts for the next league

2.) players scamming other players have alternate accounts to do their evil work

3.) account bans because of misbehaviour of any sort only affects supporters of this game. players who don't like the game and hence don't support can't anyhow be damaged.

4.) ggg support spreading fud on forums regarding them banning accounts on issues they seem somehow incorrect, surely has chilling effects. at least on me regarding the game.

eod but nice we spoke about the matter.

I think it's fairly obvious your account was locked for scamming and is being considered for ban while they review exactly what you did. As others have pointed out, there is a grey area in the TOS that basically let's them do what they want.

I personally hope you get IP banned though I know that's wishful thinking and I don't think they do that.

I also think you should consider, OP, that what you're doing (or were doing) is simply wrong. Your "fun" is being the bad guy in games because as you say "it's just pixels lolol" but when your version of fun actively takes away from others' fun, it's morally bankrupt to keep doing it.

You're really just a bad person.
The question is:
Did you just scam those people or did you lure them to your hideout, in HC, after repeatedly drinking from the Writhing Jar?

However, I think scamming is not nice. As long as there is nothing in the ToS about it, however, I also think there shouldn't be repercussions.

Edit: While not a rule about scamming:

To the greatest extent permitted by law, Grinding Gear Games also reserves the right, acting at its sole discretion, at any time to cancel your registration and access to your Member Account or to restrict, limit or otherwise change your existing rights of access to your Member Account, or any specific feature or benefit afforded to you in relation to your Member Account, including without limitation in respect of any Virtual Items, if it believes you have breached these Terms of Use or any other agreements you may have with Grinding Gear Games or for any other reason whatsoever.

The ToS may not specificaly mention it but it dose mention this

"
Any contravention by you of these Terms of Use or any other terms or conditions notified to you by Grinding Gear Games or any behaviour which Grinding Gear Games deems in its sole discretion is not in keeping with the intended spirit of participation in POE, immediately terminates the Licence

Which covers it under if your being a cunt and we don't like it we may ban you....don't be a cunt
