Izaro - Is he overtuned?

Not overtuned.

Overall I feel this is like how we used to think of Vaal (who we now think is simplistic), in that its a mechanical understandable fight, with acceptable movement and combat effects.

The Vaal oversoul? Its attacks are pretty easy to predict since he starts winding them up for ages beforehand. Izzy doesn't seem to give you as much warning.

PS: Even then, Merciless Vaal is still pretty hard! I've beaten him plenty in standard without dying, but somehow in hardcore he always seems to kill me!
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

How would I know? I've only fought him when I was 20 levels over-leveled and still die because he teleports me into two overlapped buzzsaw in the middle of a swarm of his minions. He's not a boss you fight, he's a boss you survive when the RNG lets you.
Level 42 doing normal labyrinth. It doesn't seem that hard. But then again I am over levelled for the area. Bad news is it took me a bit over an hour since I am exploring. And soon after I beat Argus, I got disconnected. I don't quite know how much further I have, but I'm guessing I'm close to the end of the labyrinth.

This connection issue has got to be fixed. I just lost an hour running that labyrinth and will have to retry again.
A few things:

1. Izaro doesn't perform a lot of his most dangerous attacks if he's close to you.

2. For the most part all of his attacks are telegraphed, except the green orbs which the goddess throws, but those have a fair travel time.

Generally, as ranged, keep moving (he doesn't change his aim once he starts an animation).
As melee, facetank him if you can to avoid triggering his more powerful attacks once the fight effects are dealt with.

I've beaten the Labyrinth on all difficulties with two characters: my Mjolner mara on Standard (who can clear a phase in less than 10s once ads are dealt with and just facetanks the 3rd phase) and a Champion Tornado Shot Duelist in SC Perandus (Who had more trouble at first, of course). But after clearing the Labyrinth successfully in Merc for the first time with him I've only died once since and have cleared successfully the rest. His defense is some evasion, a little armor, and fortify.

I'll be doing it more tomorrow on a couple other STD chars once the patch comes in for them so I only have to do it once, in merc.

There isn't enough character control for some characters for this fight. I mean, as a spellcaster what am I supposed to do when I don't use daggers to whirling blades around for my weapons because I need a wand for projectile speed? Also, spell echo locks in second cast, am I supposed to drop it then? But then I can't sustain my mana. I mean, this whole fight is built on the premise of mobility so if your character doesn't have enough arbitrary mobility you are fucked in the butt (had to write this even though it will be removed to show how annoyed like hell I am). Did I also mention the ever diminishing performance of the game? Game froze for 1 second when Izaro was throwing shooting the wave? See you in whatever long it will take you to get back to this point. I wouldn't care at all about any of this if you could just play it once per character with normal revives till you get your ascendancy points and only then be eligible for the daily runs with rewards/echants.
Cruel is definitely overtuned, Normal not by much, Merciless is a breeze/cakewalk.

They should buff Merciless. The traps don't hit hard enough or there aren't enough of them, you barely notice they're there. You do a few, and you're done; it's a shame. And Izaro is too easy..

I want that supposed level 75 "Uber" version. :P

I entered cruel lab at 54. THe lvl of the lab was 55.

2H sword melee. frenzy + splash. Double strike + multistrike. Pretty shitty gear. I had slightly over 2k hp. Like 2089.

Took Izaro down. Argus got corrupted by a spirit. Holy fucking hell, he was harder than Izaro.

I can confirm this. Izaro 1 shot me only from distance (3k HP, capped res, 1.8k AR with Unwavering Stance in cruel)
Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3
