Izaro - Is he overtuned?
" Tbh no, I think he is NOT overtuned. One does deserve to get rekt when letting him get all the charges, buff up or not killing his companions. I also did the Lab while only being like 2-3 lvls above its levels. It is all about mechanics and rewards being patient and playing smart when fighting him. (not saying you arent.) Thats my opinion, cheers Zahkriisos. Trying to satisfy the whole PoE community is like telling a nymphomaniac to only have sex once in a week. I think that's fairly accurate. :') Last edited by Zahkriisos1337#4785 on Mar 7, 2016, 8:27:38 AM

I screwed up. The things I had problems with were the essences, not the golems. Golems seem to be alright, although I was overleveled by 6 levels I think in cruel. Will reserve judgement for when I've seen all his buffs, but I guess he's alright.

Overall, no. Compared to other bosses, probably.
While I could facetank dominus' beam and smash on cruel, barely felt any hits from a4 either, second Izaro fight 1shotted me when I tried rinth. But since it's PoE, it was likely my fault for getting hit at all by him. I was also grossly below area level when I ran it. [s]only mindless sheep think labyrinth is OK to have in PoE.[/s]
okay nevermind labyrinth, fix dx9 blackscreen instead... |

He's not too bad. IDK if its just me but normally I my Game only starts stuttering when I open Rogue Exile Strongboxes or when I face those Enemies that have instant screen effects like Minara's Vaal Summon Skeletons. Izaro and the Labyrinth in general gets very heavy on stuttering for me.

He suffers from a major problem that extends to most of the newer content in this game: doing jack-all to explain precisely what you're supposed to do. Sadly, a lot of this game relies on trial-and-error learning, which wouldn't be so bad if the player wasn't heavily punished (EXP loss, having to re-run the labyrinth, etc.) at the same time for not psychically knowing what to do.
As far as his actual tuning... He's likely a little overtuned. I can't quite say for certain, as I'd need the fight to actually not drop my framerate too much (in spite of having a gaming PC better than probably 80-90% playing) to be able to reliably tell what's going on. Don't say it's easy if killed him with your standard char at level 98 with 200ex gear.
Do the normal lab at level 32~35 and comment after that. Probably people can do it at lvl 2 without items and playing with the monitor off, but these people are the minority of the game. |

Two problems:
Wall of hp and final encounter is a mess, way over the head of average joe. Plus it does not work well if you get lag spikes. No, just no. Some traps in final trial are fine. Yesterday was horrible, spikes on four sides and arrows in the middle. For ducks sake GGG. Was this only intended for the no lifers are usual? Kek. oh man. Leave that to the rumoured 75 map, k? I kinda like the lab though, nice art style, and good idea in theory. A tad bit too long, too duckin dark, and I would like my traps to be more visible (a.k.a only traps that you will trigger by not paying attention, seems there are a few of those afaik) The Hyperbomber for 2.6: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1879383

Well, ive done Izaro now on my trapper twice now, normal and cruel, getting to Merc later today when i wake up.
I completely shit stomped him both times soo im not sure why people are saying hes over tuned unless theyre sitting inside of the radius of his slam, which of course is going to one shot you or near oneshot you. Also people are ignoring the mechanics in the prior fights, leaving statues up or allowing gargoyle charges to accumulate, leaving conductors up, etc. Those buff Izaro by alot, soo if youre too impatient to do the encounter correctly, you should absolutely face the consequence of your zerg by dealing with a buffed Izaro. This is why i like the labyrinth, you cant just speed run through it. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

" I kinda agree, the mechanics are decentish (made that one up), even though some more transparancy would have been nice. I even think his damage is fine. It's just it's a bit too much for the average player, with all this hp and traps all over the place. The Hyperbomber for 2.6: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1879383
