When will Labyrinth be nerfed for non-elite players to get Ascendancy classes?

This requirement to repeat the whole instance after each boss death is not acceptable.

If learning mechanics is going to be required for this arpg--and I think it's a cool idea, frankly--then there needs to be a less punishing way for that to be accomplished. Portals, waypoints, or other shortcuts need to be in-place to avoid repeating the trash. Then, go nuts with whatever crazy mechanics you want. There'll always over-gearing & over-leveling available to those who don't want to play that way.

GGG is gating this content behind artificially high difficulty plus time sinks in this "repeat the trash" fashion. This is a disappointing realization.



Basically this.
Labyrinth difficulty seems okayish (even with smaller balance issues) on the big picture. But resetting the whole instance after each death is a very bad idea (no teleporting out is enough limitation for my taste).
Seems a cheap way to stretch the 'content' with that badly designed gating mechanisms for mandatory skillpoints.

Really. Because as far as boss fights go, Malachai and Atziri present a similar challenge for me. There comes a point where things start to sounds like "I have to put in effort...boo hoo"

I understand the frustration of people who have lag or desync and die to traps. I don't understand people who refuse to learn boss mechanics, hunt down trinkets, or spend time practicing to get "2 mandatory skill points" and then whine on forums.
I still don't understand that you have to be an ''elite'' to finish the lab what the fuck is wrong with some of you lol

I think he's pointing out that you said it was balanced, but had to outlevel the content to do it. I don't find the lab that bad but I'd like some form of checkpoints added, it's rage inducing for the game to crash or an instance not load when your 3/4 of the way through and have to start over.
Or just make reward 20-50 enhancement so we can just really farm and PLAY the game, not this absurd shit as we got now.

I didn't say it was balanced, I said it was doable. I also specified that I am a bad player. So for average to bad players, it may take some extra time to get the final two points.

But Ascendancy is not mandatory, unless you are competing on the ladder. I was mapping and doing all the other stuff I normally did pre-Ascendancy.

I do agree with your point about instance crashing, but I think they don't want people to be able to pay someone to gate them into the last boss fight to get credit.
