I had problems getting through the lab ONLY because of the fact I'm using satellite internet with ping ranging between 700-900ms range. What I had to do was wait on an easy lab layout to be able to get through it. I still managed to get all my ascendancy perks. Someone with better internet than me has no excuse.

Way too long? takes me about 10 minutes for pure walking, even with bad layout. I don't sidetrack for those bonuses though.
Boss too tough? Using traps (not ice trap!) takes me ~15 second to take him down, longer if I need to kill off his mechanisms first. A shield double strike takes at most one minute of non stop attack. Boss hitting too hard? switch to armor, they help against some traps too. You are really crappy at it? find someone to do it for you, you don't even need to enter boss fight. There is no reason you can't get all six points. The best record I ran with my friend are two lv 66s. One melee one spell. No help and did not need super gear. You want to grind enchantments? make a shield melee, and enchant the items for your other rooms. |

Just a side note here - lore wise, completing the Lab meant you became a fucking EMPEROR. It other words, it is not for wimps (LORE WISE). :v
So guys, it kinda makes sense that only ELITE (heh, heh, I still can't get used to my new title. Shiny. I didn't want it, but I don't mind. Who'd mind? This bracket is getting out of control, its time to stop... ,---,) players will able to finish it. Amarito? Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

" Pretty much exactly this. I do not enjoy lab. I have done normal and cruel. It wasnt fun at all. It isnt about being too hard or whatever. I dont want to play a trap dodging game. I want to kill shit. That said, having been server disconnected several times nearing the end is just infuriating. |

Lab is okay, traps are boring.
You just need to learn Izaro's various mechanics and it's fine. PoE Wiki is your friend. "Live by the sword, live a good, LONG time"

Seriously if after like 2 or 3 runs of lab and you still die to traps then you deserve it. Izaro himself is so slow you can easily avoid his attacks. Unless you play a max block tank character that doesn't care then by all means but otherwise get out of the way.
