PoE looks more like Diablo than Diablo 3 does!
PoE looks really nice, especially for being F2P. I love hackn'slash games and this looks really good.
But it's certainly no Diablo. Diablo 3 will probably be for Diablo what WC3 was for Warcraft(ie quite different but still a masterpiece). | |
" My post wasn't meant to put hate on Diablo III. I personally cannot wait until it's finally released but like many others here, I feel the art style was too different from D2. |

" Sentence! I also agree that this game looks MUCH more like the Diablo series then Diablo 3. I think Diablo 3 looks like Warcraft 3 except with updated HD graphics... |

" I think this is an opinion based on the rose-colored glasses. Blizzard has the luck that they have many fans but that doesn't make the products to masterpieces. Diablo 3 can't be a masterpiece since it already broke one of the most imporant rules - stay true to what you are. Since the whole design and style is different, Diablo 3 can't be a masterpiece no more. It may be a good game but the word expresses something nearly perfect. A game that is looking that snotty made and on top of it not even like the brand isn't in the space of perfection. |

@Zalcore
agree 100% with you. btw: more realistic graphics don't make a game more "hardcore" - just different €:funny how everybody bases his "d3 is going to be shitty" opinion on some graphics -.- think the best would be to stop whining till d3 is out My shop on Nemesis: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/563359 Last edited by InMemo#2140 on Aug 11, 2011, 12:07:03 PM

" It isn't "some graphics", it is a bunch of different parts of the game. One are the graphics, low polygons, ugly textures, bad lighting. Another is the friendly, world of warcraftesc design. Then there is the lack of interactivity through giving points for talents or attributes. Or the forced online connection. All these arguments are facts, you don't have to wait because they are there. |

" ok this is about graphic The " i don't like it either.the best part of d2 was testing out and playing build over build BUT i can't imagine a bad d3 I want to test and play before I complain about it. I mean i don't think the blizz dev staff thought :"oh we need even more diablo players,lets make a casual d3 that a 10year old can play" My shop on Nemesis: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/563359

" The Blizzard staff isn't the same staff from ten years ago. Today it's Activision Blizzard and the devs are different people. It is highly imaginable that this was their line of thought. And of course at the same time they thought "and all the old players will buy it nevertheless, since they alway say they will first play it and that means buying it. catching!". |

Totally agree.
But it is difficult to say how it feels without to try to play. Hope i will get my beta key soon ^^ Mirror of Kalandra?
