PoE looks more like Diablo than Diablo 3 does!

They definitely have the look down pat. It's almost like D2 transitioned straight from sprite to 3D here. The lighting feels very similar in dungeons, and the dark gritty look suits the sort of game it is.

I especially like the animations. Feels like they were nicked straight from D2 in their sort of abrupt nature.

I am going to play both because I love these types of games!

I think that Diablo 3 and POE are compete for better game. I think POE's winning because D3 may be too combinated

It does look stunning, very detailed and it's not even that much resource intensive. I know it's impossible not to compare PoE to D3 but I think there's room for both games in the market and I'll certainly play both. (I bet even GGG will play D3)

It's true that PoE has a real dark atmosphere unlike D3. Dark dungeons where you can see your fireball fly all the way thru, blood baths... that kind of stuff :D

Glad to see there are a few sane people still left =] I'll be playing both as well.

personally i am a huge diablo fan been playing it since the original came out. exile is very gritty dark dead bodies everywhere blood soaked feeling. they are 2 distinct games though. honestly for me exile feels a bit more similar to titan quest for some reason. sort of hard to compare them really since both games not complete. if you're looking for a great action rpg though this is top notch. i havent been 1 bit disappointed so far. the devs for ggg are amazing guys and they've gota lot of plans for it yet. RMAH! i kid i kid. idont think most people that are waiting to play will be disappoint. get ready to hack and slash and treasure hunt :)

Everyone that played D2 and enjoyed it will play diablo III.
Even those 'boycotting' the game for its auction house.

I mean you can't miss diablo III, come on :D


And god I hope this game doesnt feel like TQ. I hated Titan Quest... It was so sloooooow.
