PoE looks more like Diablo than Diablo 3 does!
All about atmosphere imo.

Why are so many people whining over D3. Wait for it to come out...

Don't betray blizzard. I'm sure each of you enjoyed at least 1 Blizzard game. Just wait for diablo 3. But this game definently looks better.

Wait for what? What do we see with a release? A different game? We have all important information already. I don't know what this "just wait"-blah blah means, since normally it should say "wait for information" but as they're out no one has to wait to make it's opinion.
@M0ntezum4 Betrayal? We talk about a company here and not even the original staff. There is no contract that I have to buy what they sell. Sounds a bit dangerous. Seriously, I don't think consume slavery is a good idea. It's definitly not helping creativity. |

" I hate to resort to this but uh... "QQ More". Seriously. You're a big ball of negativity, and I'm wondering if you've even played any bit of D3 yet. I've enjoyed the game in 30 minutes far more than I enjoyed D2. Hated the Barbarian in D2, and the changes made to resource systems as well as skills, not to mention the jump to the third dimension have changed my mind in D3. Most fun I've had playing an ARPG class to date. Might want to stop with the pessimism, negativity, and pseudo-intellectual banter on consumerism et al. Or don't. I personally don't care. I know that I'm not so up my own arse that I can't enjoy a great game simply for the sake of not enjoying it. It is the nature of man to create monsters,
It is the nature of monsters to destroy their creators. |

Men has the amazing ability to persuade oneself so much that even diseases can be cured or at least reduced to a bearable level. All those ramblings about being "negative" and all that, it's so childish. It's something you hear from kids "dare you say something against my black power ranger!". That is one point why this industry is so imature and why it can do whatever it want while other media, music, literature, movies continuously evolve through the long tradition of rating the craftsmanship of a work or an opus (don't know which word is the best in english). In the gaming industry, it's all the time "wait, wait, don't say something against it!" or "you aren't forced to buy it, do you?". This do has contra-productive effects, it's not good to applaude to everything that is produced in a lobotomized manner.
I never said, this game will have a bad gameplay but you can't rate a game after one part. You have to look at everything and the background is part of it. The game won't do justice and this is a big minor besides of the other arguments which are explained at great length. |

who ever thinks poe is going to be a better game than diablo 3 is a joke.
how are you going to compare a small dev company vs a gaming giant who has been making these kind of games for over 15 years? its like saying an engineer who has graduated from uni would build a better bridge than one who has been an engineer for over 15 years... just ain't going to happen. how many staff members does GGG have? 10-15? the last time i checked blizzard had over 5000. GGG is very smart for making this a free to play game, because it wouldn't sell and for those who are on the GGG bandwagon saying they would buy the game if there was a cost to it, well sorry to upset you 100 or so, but the servers would be pretty much empty. tldr - dont compare an apple to a seed |

PoE > Diablo 3

" Quite pointless post. It doesn't matter how many developers you have if it's about quality. And how it comes you're so sure that we have here the old developers? As far as I know many people left Blizzard many, many years ago. And then there are all the other arguments already unfurled and repeated you just ignore. What you're saying is, Blizzard made nice games and some milestones so everything they do has to be awesome or at least very good. And sorry but that isn't even a hypothesis, it's fortune telling. And that isn't rational. |

Pointless thread. Play the game you enjoy most. End of story.
