Pretty satisfied with the market the way it is now TBH

Regular rares with decent, useable but not-great rolls are super cheap, because they're common. That's a good thing, it means people can get into the endgame without using a bullshit build (though there are still other things preventing this).

Top tier gear is still very expensive, as it should be, and the exalt-chaos ratio? IDK wtf is going on with that but it means something. It's a good place for the game economy-wise to be, in my opinion. This is how the economy should have always been.

Now if only we can get GGG to balance the different build varieties a lot more closely, we'd be in a good spot (and by we I mean poe).

The availability of exalts has got so bad, items that were worth 50-150 exalts are now worth 10-20, but items that were priced at 200 exalts are now 300 exalts and theres enough people who rmt in standard for those figures on the top end to keep rising while legit players are basically having their wages reduced to the point where chasing those amounts seems impossible. This was not the case before, theres been moments when standard was going those way and came back from the brink but for the vast majority of standards history there has been ways to make the wealth needed legitimately. This wasnt a problem in the run up to 2.0 or in the first few weeks of awakening launch, this is a situation thats come about since the markets have adapted to the changes made.

This is what happened with D3's AH based economy. I remember seeing posts just like this back then.
